Why you like it: I think the species design is actually rather unique and recognizable and offers a lot of creative freedom with a ton of traits available. And the community is extremely kind, creative, helpful and mature.

Why you like it: The lore and just how many quests and prompts there are to do, which really make you want to develop and flesh out your characters. There's a bunch of events every year and it all really feels like a videogame! Makes me feel like a kid again with how whimsical it all feels.

Why you like it: I created ghosttens almost about 6 years now and they are just so nostalgic for me. I love halloween and ghosts and ghosttens help bring that all year round. It is also just fun to draw bones as well !!

Why you like it: Only unique humanoid species I’ve really come across, has a lot of variation but in a way you can still tell it’s the species!  They’re also relatively easy to get.

Gotta say, my fave is my own! I run the species I wish I could join.

Enchiron is a multispecies character development-focused art and writing community. We're set in a completely original fantasy world with tons of lore, we just launched our adventuring system, and we have all sorts of fun events I have a blast designing.

Species name/link: Milqilins

Open/closed/semiclosed: Closed (18+ only)

Why you like it: It's the most feminine species so far I joined and is also for adults only, but of course you're allowed to make masculine designs too.^^ I enjoy the having unique flavor aspect for each Milqilin and I just like cow humanoids in general. The bases is nice to use too (not mandatory, you can do off base) since is very much like paper dolls and especially the creator giving out free clothes for your Milqs to try on.

Not using the template, simply because I have a lot of species I like.

Chaimis was the first species where I'd gotten into both adopting and MYOs. While it's not as active now, there's still a couple of members who occasionally poke their heads in and chat, and there's a very lovely community feeling with the server.

Teaflings are one where I gladly admit I'm biased, as the owner of it is a mod in a couple of my species, and we've ended up in a few similar species as well. I'm a sucker for demon-based species, too, so that's something. :')

Candyfloss are a pretty big species I enjoy, and they're pretty unique due to the fact that they're so alien. There's a whole fleshed-out world in place, along with several subspecies that each have different quirks to them. The community is also very lively, with lots of people having their own little "mini-worlds" and stories.

I'll also second Portraiteers because the unique concept for the species makes it very interesting.

Honestly, I love a lot of species, and sometimes I'll trawl the searches to see if there's any I'd be looking forward to adopting if I don't have current MYOs for them (or MYO ideas).

demshie: my first ever, and my favorite of all time! the community is so active and the owner is so nice :3 the only thing limiting me is that my ass is still learning how to draw digitigrade legs LMAO but that has not stopped me from making demshie OCs

caffae: actually owned by the person above me!! ri'ah is so cool, and so is his species!!! there's a large variety of traits n shit you can use, and the MYOs are SO easy to get with both real and virtual currencies (plus they offer FTO + birthday MYOs), and I just... this community my beloved
