It's a daily occurrence for me, heading to the river for a morning drink. It just so happens that Jax comes along sometimes, or a few of the mares from my end of the stables will join me once in a while. I never thought anything of their behavior, but Jax always seems to think they are all googly-eyed for me.

Lots of my friends think it's silly that I love birds as much as I do. they think it's annoying hearing them sing, but honestly, the world would be such a boring place if the birds didn't exist. As a child I wished I could fly with them, see the world as they did high above the clouds, migrating to warmer places when the weather gets too cold.

Summertime means daisies and the unused fields behind the barn became flooded with them once the sun's heat became constant. It's hard to remember the way the world looks when you have your eyes closed most of the time. But honestly, I cannot bring myself to care. My dreams are much more interesting than anything this sleepy barn could provide for me.

Watching the two of them smile is like watching a favorite re-run, reciting your favorite lines with a smile and sonant laugh. I cannot help but imagine what the two of them could be if only she'd let him in, allow him to wrap her in his arms and will away the shadows

The stables are wonderful, peaceful, and full of life, just like the forests that surround it. It may not be as quiet as the woodlands, but it's home all the same. I only hope to live out the rest of my days here under the thin canopies and the soft moon rays that will soon lead me home.

I have a grueling time letting things go. I allow demons to haunt me for as long as they wish, allow them to fester and wound until they fade away of their own accord. How I long to learn how to let things be as they are, but for now I will continue to hold regrets, to drown demons that should have been exorcised years before.

Traveling overseas is something I will never do again, but I am grateful I am here in the states now, for I believe I wouldn't have survived a night in Spain even if I tried.

If there is one thing about living that I wouldn't mind ridding of is the existence of filth. If cleanliness could exist without the opposite, my life would be a million fold times better than what it is at this present moment.

It's all "too much" for them, it's always the same excuse. And honestly, I don't mind much anymore. If what I do is too much by their definition, then so be it. It will not deter me from continuing, not for a very long time

Frankly, I find it arduous a task to even begin deciphering what makes me who I am, what defines my character and how I perceive the world, for my vision lies within the silver line between vibrancy and monochrome.

How wonderful this tiny world would be if there were a remedy that could mend what's broken. Regrettably, I don't anticipate that any earth-shattering medicine or pair of magic handwear would be able to put me back together again even if I tried.

Adrenaline. Something I cannot and will not ever be able to get enough of. Something that's a part of me, what fills me.

And at the same time, it's what eats at me the most.

Innocence never lasts. Like lightning, it's there and then it's gone, and one day those two gremlins will understand. Nothing lasts; smiles, laughs, happiness, love. Nothing good is ever permanent, and Celeste hoped with every being in their body that they learned to be strong, take nothing from no one. She wanted them to be what she wasn't.
