Basics
The ballad of a lost machine is a sad one. Wandering without family, without purpose, without reason to persist. They let their body rot away in penance, and mark themselves with a name as tired and worn as they will become. But in the years that pass, and in the connections forged, this cold shell may soon live again, and perhaps learn to live for the sake of living...
Haggard was once a warforge who wandered the country for coin, playing in taverns, private parties, or wherever they could get a gig. Though the coin they made was meager, it was enough to continue their existence--just enough.
But, when their dull world was colored by vibrant characters, Haggard was unwillingly sucked in--pervailing through multiple threats and saving countless lives in the process. These people, these friends, have returned in Haggard a spark of hope that was once thought lost.
Together, they make up the Killjoys, and with them Haggard seeks to find new purpose in a new world.

Warforged Resilience
Though Haggard is an old, broken down model of Warforged, they have unique strengths that aid them in niche ways. They're immune to disease and have poision resistence/advantage on poison saving throws. They do not need to sleep, drink or breathe. They also do not need to sleep, and magic cannot put them to sleep. They are immune to exhaustion. However, as a drawback, Haggard cannot swim, and will sink like a stone in water.
Caecilius' Resistence
The dark passenger that once powered their core also grants Haggard a unique gift. If Haggard at any point hits 0hp, the dark shadows within will renew their vitality--picking their fallen body back up again. Haggard is reduced back to 1hp, and can continue to fight without needing to roll anything in return. Caecy's a strange eldritch being, but a useful one, for sure.
Dissonant Whispers
Calling upon the dark energies within, Haggard casts this powerful psychic spell. Dark smoke will pour from any gaps in their armor, and wrap around their target, creating a frightening visage. With these shadows come biting words, eldritch in nature and damaging to the mind. It drains the sanity of those unfortunate enough to make Haggard angry, which recently, has been many people.
