Profile
A dragon from the northern area of the reformed supercontinent, Neo-Pangaea. A mix of passion and calm, Fuyumi is pretty much universally loved.
They play the bass guitar for a local band called Whitebird, and they love to be social. It’s hard for her to keep friends, but the ones who stay are incredibly loyal.
She’s the type to avoid her problems for as long as humanly possible.
She wants to be selfless and caring, but it’s hard to give of yourself when you’ve spent every part of yourself already. Her friends urge her to take care of herself first, but she feels like that’s selfish.

Quirks & Habits
She holds her tail high in the air because it gets stepped on a lot (it’s thin and inconspicuous sometimes), although that can get a bit tiresome because of the feathers at the end of it. It’s very rare to see her not moving, unless she’s sleeping.
Communication
Good at making friends, bad at keeping them. She talks a lot, which can be a blessing for some and a curse for others. Despite that, she’s a surprisingly good listener, although she often tries to fix problems that aren’t her business.
They’re very verbal and straightforward. They can effectively get their point across with just a few words, but they like to add on a bunch of extra words because…well, why not?
Showing Affection
They’re very affectionate, both verbally and physically! Even with people they aren’t very close with. Talia and Mira bear the full brunt of their affection, although secretly neither of them mind that much.

- They own many instruments, especially guitars. I’m not a big enough guitar nerd to know what kind of instrument would fit them best, but I’m saying that they have an SRMD200 because the red one fits their color scheme.
- She has a slight phobia of blood.
Fuyumi loves the idea of divine inspiration—that she isn’t the one writing the music, but rather some higher power is using her as a vessel to share its holy song. But she never feels like this is the case when she writes.
She wants to reach a point where the chords and lyrics are no longer hers.
Though her clothing style is flashy, she prioritizes comfort over looks, generally. She owns a lot of sporty clothes, and a handful of fancy dresses as well. Her expression is often very relaxed.
- Her eyes turn yellow when she is in her dragon form! Please note, this is the only instance yellow is used!
- The hair/tail is a gradient from white to black.

Fuyumi has incredible stamina, but she doesn’t have the same naturally high attack stats that many other dragons have. She trains to improve her power, but that can only do so much. Her main specialty is healing, and she can launch pointy feathers from her hair to fend off smaller enemies.

Abilities
Like most dragons born in the North, Fuyumi has a special ‘alternate form’. The form is triggered when she gets startled, and it lets them see the world with a sharp and critical eye. Their movement speed is also enhanced, but not in a way that could rival dragons built for speed. During more desperate times she can fly as well, or even shift into a full-feral form, but they try really hard not to let this happen (it generally causes more problems than it solves).
It’s a completely natural ability! She’s trying to find a way to trigger it even when she hasn’t been startled, although it’s a slow process.

Abilities
Every Northern dragon has their own “Truesight,” and though it differs from person to person, each one generally affects their perception somehow (hence the ‘sight’ part). Fuyumi’s Truesight allows them to see the quickest way to help someone, in a sense. Specifically, if someone is wounded, Fuyumi can heal them. Although the healing ability only activates if she can see/smell blood, and it only lets her close external wounds. It does affect her perception, even if it’s mainly used for the secondary healing effect.
Since it’s Truesight it’s a completely natural ability, and one that she treasures greatly (despite her phobia of blood).

Chapter One: "Whitebird"
Fuyumi was born in the city she lives in now, and grew up there during her childhood. To this day she tries to keep in touch with the friends she grew up with, but at this point most of them are just staying friends with her to say that they’re friends with a member of Whitebird.
They grew up surrounded by music, so it’s no surprise they have a career in it today. Their dad was really good at piano, and gave lessons at their house, so she kinda picked up some of it. Since she only ever practiced the guitar though, she never got really good at piano like her dad. Nowadays, alongside some close friends they made in high school, they play for a band called Whitebird. Their lead singer writes most of the lyrics for the songs, but everyone likes to help out at least a little bit!
Fuyumi adores her fellow Whitebird members and respects them a lot, but she wants to get to a point where she can write her own songs, separate from the band. She also really wants to improve her singing—she’s decent, but not nearly as good as their lead.
Chapter Two: "Strange New Friends"
She met her Whitebird friends in high school, but what of Mira and Talia?? She met Mira first, when the other dragon approached Fuyumi after a concert and struck up a conversation. Fuyumi, excited at the prospect of making a new friend, happily chatted with Mira! The two became fast friends and started spending lots of time together.
They met Talia at a concert as well, when Talia went on a curse-induced rampage and accidentally hurt a couple people. Fuyumi flew into the crowd to help everyone out, and settled the situation remarkably quickly. After the concert, Mira introduced Fuyumi to Talia, saying that the whole incident was the best way she could have ever introduced the two to each other.
Now, Talia and Fuyumi live together, and the two of them often go to hang out at Mira’s ridiculously fancy place.

The Past: First Encounter and Impressions
Fuyumi met Talia in a pretty intense and dangerous moment, but despite that she was immediately struck by how…cool Talia was! Talia caused a mess during Whitebird's show and wasn’t afraid to ask to be Fuyumi’s friend afterward! While some may have been annoyed or even offended, Fuyumi was genuinely impressed.
The first few months (maybe even the first year or so) were awkward, a steep upward climb. Both Fuyumi and Talia had issues that needed to be sorted out before they could become closer friends. But evidently they’ve dealt with those issues; they’re very close now.
The Present: Attitudes and Dynamic
Every day Fuyumi feels a bit shocked and extremely honored that Talia has stuck with her for this long. Talia never bats an eye, but despite having a long history with her band members, she still isn’t used to people staying by her side. Talia and Fuyumi have very few secrets from each other. And while they do have their disagreements, their bond is as strong as steel.
The Future: Hopes
More than anything, they want to stay friends with Talia. It’s a simple wish (with a high chance of coming true).
They’re looking for a chance to introduce Talia to the other members of Whitebird, but so far the chance hasn’t come.

The Past: First Encounter and Impressions
Fuyumi met Mira after a concert, and they quickly became friends! That friendship didn’t change when Mira eventually explained her Truesight to Fuyumi; Fuyumi thought, I don’t exactly have anything to hide, so what’s the problem? To tell the truth she was so happy to make a friend outside of Whitebird that she didn’t really care.
The Present: Attitudes and Dynamic
They share many interests, music being a key one. You’ll often find them together, listening to or playing all sorts of music (even if Mira’s more classical instruments don’t pair that well with Fuyumi’s style—they make it work).
While Fuyumi always wants to get everyone together, she knows that Mira and Talia are oftentimes at odds with each other, and she’d hate to force them to hang out… It’s fun in theory, but when Talia and Mira end up making the entire get-together about their beef with each other, it’s much less fun.
The Future: Hopes
They want to be closer friends with Mira! They got super close with Talia super fast, and they kinda feel bad that Mira wasn’t a part of that. But they still love Mira a lot, and they hope Mira feels the same despite everything.
