A little bunny, and a special present specifically made for an sensitive yet empathetic boy. Doctor Butternuts was a companion that helped a young child cope with big feelings, and they have never leave each other’s side ever since. Carried everywhere, however kept hidden by other's sight. When the world feels too scary, Doctor Butternuts is the [only] one that make Oliver feel a little bit better.

To anyone who knows who Butternuts is, Dr. Butternuts is a very kind and friendly fellow, who’s willing to treat patients no matter big or small. Though, he's spent his life helping others in many different ways as well! From being a subsitute teacher to helping out the new restaurant, the doctor is ready to lend a hand. While he may be quite and a little weak, the dear bunny is always ready to comfort no matter what or when. He and his best friend have gone through everything together.

★ little notes:
  • He isn’t any more distinctive than any other toy in our world, a tleast that's how we all see it.
  • Back when he was new, he was just a yellow and white bunny. But he got wounded overtime and he hasn't been washed in years…
  • Always ready to give a hug, whether it's after a nightmare or during a stormy day.
  • Apparently he was inspired by Oliver’s favorite [in-universe] cartoon, “Carrotville”.
  • Perhaps his best friend is a little extra protective of him, always checking if Doctor Butternuts is with him and never letting anyone to even touch him. Though, he doesn't blame his friend for such.
  • Used to own a little hospital and had many patients, who were also his dear friends. Sadly, Butternuts had to leave them all one day and is unable to practice medicine ever since.
  • Doctor Butternuts for a short while tried a variety of carriers in his life, from an astronaut to a teacher, cowboy, and even replaced the president’s secretary once. However, none of them bring him as much joy as being a doctor.
  • Has a fear of scissors, because it reminds Butternuts of a very unpleasant memory. Butternuts does not like to talk about it though.
  • Butternuts misses […] too.
