They used to have somewhat of a troubled relationship in the past, however they evolved to have a strong three way friendship.
Their design concepts remain the same - Grey only having the grey colour scheme of Bienie, and Brown the brown one. They have minor differences in their features, like the hairtuft, Grey is slightly taller, there's optional scarring sometimes but I didn't feel like adding that here. I consider them Bienie since they have the same design split up into two cats. I should also point out, in canon, they are both entirely imaginary. Neither of them "exist" in a physical sense. They're like characters to Bienie, except slightly more alive. They converse a lot together.
Grey is, essentially, the voice of reason/second person in inner conversations. Not always agreeing, but generally humorous and able to put things into perspective. Has a tendency to correct irrational impulsive thoughts. A protector of sorts, not in the physical sense.
Brown rarely speaks, and doesn't have a voice as such. They radiate warmth and comfort, and appear asleep most of the time. Their primary role is comfort. They can give off a sense of warmth from within when there's nothing else providing it. They love to snuggle. They're usually snuggled up with Grey or Bienie if possible.
While Grey and Brown can be drawn apart, they are never in reality separated.
Their respective roles in Bienie's life have now been combined and assigned to Roxi.
