ALMOST 12 YEARS OF ACTIVE PRIMARY FURSONA USE (JANUARY 25, ANNIVERSARY SOON) + A LOT OF FRIENDS KIND ENOUGH TO DRAW ART, AND PARTNERS AND THE LIKE. ALSO WAY BACK IN THE DAY, "DRAW MY CHARACTER" CONTESTS WERE REALLY COMMON ON DA, AND MY PARTNER AT THE TIME HOSTED SOME OF THOSE INVOLVING BIENIE TOO. PLUS THE CULTURE OF DA BACK THEN WAS ALSO VERY... SOMEONE WAS NICE TO YOU AND YOU DREW THEIR SONA. SO I GAVE AND RECEIVED A LOT OF THAT. I MISS THAT CULTURE AND I MISS HAVING DRAWING ENERGY. BUT FOND MEMORIES FOR SURE

Honestly, I don't know! I just picked Bienie, decided to stick with them, and as such, didn't give them a story or anything else so that they could remain as true to me as possible. For me, giving a sona their own backstory makes me see them more as their own characters than as "me", but it works differently for different people! It also helps to let a sona "grow" with you and make changes when needed. It's all about finding what is exactly right for you, and sometimes you won't like your sona. It's a lengthy process, but don't give up!
Also, yes! Bienie has been in relationships with four characters, who were all sonas of my partners at the time. For the reasons stated above, I don't ship them with people I'm not dating, because that would make them feel less like me! So all of their partners are representations of actual relationships in my life.
Gosh I thought Krissi had a TON of art but she only has like 500 pieces total, maybe 600 since a lot of her oldest stuff is lost! I seriously hope she gets as much art as Bien one day. She's gonna be 9 in August!

Oh damn I wish I knew. I've had them for eight years, I've commissioned a fair amount of art in that time, but I don't tend to keep track of pricing/how much I spent on them! A fair amount of the art by others here was gift art/trades, though, so not all of it is paid art. Bien tends to be the character I get gift art of when I do get gifts!

Bien has been my fursona for 8 years! A ton of this is personal art because I happen to draw them myself a lot, they're my go-to character for random art and also the character people tend to draw for me the most! So it's not all by other people, no. But yea, sometimes people draw them for that reason!
