Raboraska is the reincarnation of one of the five Sea Mothers (Deities of water), Kraken. Kraken was by far known to be the most wild and chaotic of those deities and Raboraska certainly inherieted that from her. It doesn't help that the species he was born into, cecaelias, are by nature very unruly and chaotic as well. Even though he didn't initially really remember his past life, Raboraska was aware from a young age that he was unusual - that the immense magic and power he had was a special gift.
Starting a business that revolved around using his own ink to tattoo magical seals onto other beings, Raboraska made a reputation for himself quite quickly. He was powerful, in fact sometimes so powerful that he got too ambitious and ended up killing creatures by giving them more magic than they could handle. With time of course, he got more skilled - it however was just on of those risks one took by dealing with Raboraska.
When Raboraska isn't occupied by making potions or tattooing people, he usually spend his time raising children. Raboraska, both with a soft spot for chaos and motherhood, often talks his husband Khaal, the god of life, into fathering another kid with him. Their offspring tends to grown into incredibly large feral monsters and Raboraskavery much enjoys carrying them, then raising them, and then letting them roam free to terrorize others in the vast ocenas.
When it comes to parenting, Raboraska is... well, by normal standards a strange mom. His kids are less like normal sentient beings and more like feral dogs with a lot of chaotic energy. This technically means that Raboraska does a well job tending to their needs and raising them as well as he can, but he doesn't so much tame them or try to make them any less dangerous. In fact, be believes it's important to have such beasts roaming the sea. Of course they listen to him, he is their mom, so you might argue it's also a power thing. It might very well be. Raboraska probably wouldn't mind the assumption.
Khaal, upon their initial meaning, was struggling with his feelings towards his late partner, who happened to be Kraken. Because of her death, he didn't want Raboraska to die - even if they didn't know each other and even if Khaal didn't plan on getting too involved into Raboraska's life. Promising that Raboraska wouldn't die, after Raboraska showed interest in immortality, Khaal gifted him a ring that is supposed to keep Raboraska from dying, and if he did die, then alert Khaal to come bring him back. Raboraska teased that as soon as he made Khaal sometihgn in return, they'd be married, kind of as a joke. Raboraska just started to introduce Khaal as his spouse or himself as Khaal's husband and since Khaal didn't tell him not to, it just kind of went from there. Raboraska actually did gift Khaal a ring in return, but Raboraska isn't actually sure Khaal kept it or something, as he has never has seen Khaal wear it. To be fair, Khaal doesn't have fingers, but Raboraska figured Khaal cold wear it on his antlers or his fur-- moss-mane?? Either way, The relationship itself is fine - They've had many children since they met and Raboraska sometimes comes and visits his spouse, who doesn't really leave his home.

Personality
Raboraska is a sassy, flirty, crass and depending on you personal taste, perhaps also occasionally unpleasant man. As he gets a lot of different clients, a lot of them would see him as unruly and chaotic, like he lacks morals and rules to hold him back. In reality that is very common in the oceans Raboraska calls home. Everyone fends for himself. In fact, he probably is very polite to some other cecaelias you'd find. Though he enjoys to provoke and tease, he seemingly does hold back if people seem too uncomfortable. Perhaps that is a sliver of kindness or perhaps it's for business - it can be hard to tell with Raboraska honestly.
Raboraska is very intruigded by the idea of using magic to boost people or to give them powers and skills they beforehand did not have and due to his disinterest in what is good and evil, he very much hands out this for the right price or to the right people. Some say that it's because of his endless greed for power. Raboraska can seem nice and pleasant, even to a point where you might consider him a good friend, but he can be a bit rough around his edges. At the end of the day, he very much has his own agendas and he follows those. The only one he really will bend over backwards and hold his work for is Khaal.
Physical Abilities
- Raboraska is RIDICULOUSLY strong. Not ony does those meaty arms carry a good ammount of punch, but Raboraska's tentacles are stupidly sturdy and mighty. Whether this is natural or magically enchanced is hard to tell, Raboraska insists it's all natural though
- Really good at cardgames - he's a quick learner and doesn't actually cheat using any magic or such. He's just really good at remembering rules, decks and othre small details that enhances his chances of winning.
- Can communicate with all his children, despite the factthat they do not seem to understand spoken languages from anyone else.
Magical Abilities
- He offer a variety of services that involves using his own magic ink, be that using it in potions or to tattoo magical seals, like the ones Damon has. These different items and actions have different effects and are usually tailored to whomever the buyer is.

Trivia
- The reason why a lot of people (Rabby included) calls himself 'mother' instead of 'father' or 'parent' isn't grounded in a particular preference. It is partially because Raboraska is a reincarnation of Kraken who was called the same. On top of that, it is likely influenced by the fact that in a large majority of older dialects of the ocean he lives in, the role of mother is put on a high pedistal. This is because of The Five Ocean Goddesses being called 'mothers of the ocean'. Raboraska being pretty old and speaking a lot of those older languages and dialects (although rusten), means that he is partially influenced by that as well. He won't mind if anyone calls him by another term though. Gender-specific wording isn't something that Raboraska cares much for.
- Raboraska having candles on his hat is seen as a traditional sign of his occupation, as in the past flames in the ocean was seen as only something those with magical powers could produce. Nowadays it's more common to see it, as life in the oceans has advanced, but having it on your hat, is still a giveaway to many sea creatues in many civilizations.

Significant Relationships
Khaalk
Raboraska likes Khaal a lot - he's such a weird being. For the longest time he really thought Khaal was a green stag with flower decorations, but the more Khaal let him come close and explore, the more he realized that Khaal definitely isn't as much fauna, as he thought. He supposes that is how deities sometimes are. Something deep in his soul urges him to care and comfort Khaal and honestly Raboraska doesn't see a reason to not do so - Khaal is nice, respectful, caring and really funny and interesting. What more do you want in a spouse?? Khaal isn't really involved in being a father, but that's actually the expected standard for a lot of sea creatues (in particular cecaelias), so Raboraska kind of prefers that. Khaal just provides-- devine genes, which Raboraska is a big fan of - big, powerful children is any cecaelia's dream, isn't it?
Nexus
Raboraska can stand Nexus and even get along with him, which is more than most people - let's be real. He does scoff and play up his annoynace from Nexus, but the truth is that they totally get along as soon as they decide to get chaotic and try out some of Raboraska's experimental potions. He does Nexus a lot of favors, like giving Damon three really strong spells, because Nexus at the end of the day als goes out of his way to do stuff for Raboraska. Nexus is a bit of a small fry, but he's entertaining and really getswhat it's like to be in love with chaos. Oh, and what it is like to be in love with really hairy and stoic creatues much taller than yourself. That too.
Damon
When Nexus explained his weird plan for Damon, Raboraska was like "what do you get out of that??" but then he saw Damon and he was like "woa ok hot damn yeah". Damon is very large and obedient, a total cutie, but probably also a pushover. Raboraska has been kind of impressed with where Damon started and where he ended up after a couple of years. They grow up so quick!
