"Quote"
He doesn’t like to flat out curse, but, like Nate, use more innocent words like “frick” or “heck”, though says them more often than his dad. He‘s curious and, often times, charming. He can also be aggressively positive at times with compliments. Catchfire loves to draw! Often times he’s seen drawing his sona Taio, but other times he also draws other people or places. He’s a very creative person and loves spending time with his friends and family.
ABILITY:
Catchfire has the ability to create and manipulate fire, as well as have some psychic abilities, though is still learning how to use it properly. His strength only allows him to levitate small objects right now.
DESIGN
- He has 2 whiskers, the upper ones being long and the lower ones being short.
- He has 4 fingers, but 5 on his human form.
- He has a diamond shaped marking between his eyes.
- He has a pink carnation flower attached to his scarf.
- He’s got rabbit incisors while the rest are cat’s teeth.
- His white star shirt underneath his hoodie is long sleeved.
BACKGROUND
BACKSTORY
Catchfire is born to Phyre and Nate, and spent his first almost 4 years living with his mother in Quartz City. He was mostly dropped off at a daycare by his mother if she didn’t have time to bring him to his father. During these times, Phyre had always talked highly about Cascade to Catchfire, but he’s never met her. He just knows she was Phyre’s older sister.
AFTER PHYRE’S DEATH
After Phyre’s death, he ended up living with Nate for the rest of his childhood, and has finally met Cascade. Despite being the cause of his mother’s death, Catchfire is very loving towards Cascade and understands that what she’s done was an accident, although he was still understandably upset with the situation. Although it still took him some time to properly understand why it had to happen, and was slowly given more and more information on the situation as he got older and was asking more questions.

RELATIONSHIPS
Catch was super close with Phyre, and didn’t understand why her death to happen. He was far too young to remember much of it though, and it has been years since then.
Catch is now closer than Nate than he’s ever been since his the few years of his childhood as he now lives with him.
Catch doesn’t know many details of Phyre’s death, but knows Cascade was the cause. Still, Phyre spoke so highly of his aunt Cas, so he tries to be as close to her as possible and get to know her more.
The two quickly became best friends soon after they met. Catchfire supports Ashton’s little shenanigans and is always there to go on adventures with him.
