PROFILE

Having been ill for most of her life and thus unable to spend much time outside of her room, Kitty relishes the strength of her undead body and the newfound freedom of movement, even if it is limited to after dark. She initially specialised in the mental disciplines of Prescence and Dominate, using them in combination, her lifetime of illness having left her body thin and brittle and even enhanced in death she had no natural proclivity for physical Disciplines. After several hardships however she decided to equip herself with natural weapons through her Protean, and aimed to use her Shapechange abilities to assist the group in reconnaissance and communication. However, after a recon mission went wrong she was left in torpor from one hit, leaving her devastated, but resolving to learn Fortitude from her sire so as not to be a burden on her Coterie.

As a novelist of sorts, Kitty pays attention to details and records things of interest in her notebook, which she uses to help her with the case of the Leather Apron killer, and as a well educated woman both in human and Vampire affairs, Kitty has a strong knowledge of politics and has shown herself to be an excellent public speaker when the need arises. She strives to be a model Ventrue and do her sire proud.

PERSONALITY

Kitty is young and a little naive, but well mannered and agreeable even if she's not so used to speaking with members of the lower classes, and has been adjusting her views to be more open. Passionate about literature and writing, and an avid reader herself, Kitty is a bit of a romantic and dreams of being swept off her feet by a handsome young man, though in reality is more likely to be the initiator if someone catches her interest and has a very specific type. She can be a bit unsure of herself sometimes, but always tries to project outward confidence and show strength of mind.

Having never quite made it out of her teenage years, Kitty can be a bit emotional sometimes, but her great self control means that it usually stays internal, and she is desperate to appear strong like Isabella whom she admires greatly. As a result when she fails even with a strong resolve she is devastated and needs to build up her self confidence again. She is also somewhat body conscious, beyond simply the proper etiquette of a highborn lady, and wears extra layers under her dresses to hide the frail skinny body she was stuck with from life.

BIOGRAPHY

Growing up sickly, Kitty lived a sheltered life as a daughter of the Duke of Leinster, sent to London to live near her physician for most of her life. As she could not go out much due to her illness, Kitty became an avid reader, and even started writing herself, and has published a few short romantic novellas under a pen name. Kitty partakes in a literature club with other highborn women that often invites notable artists and well travelled nobles to speak and share stories. It was at one of the meetings she was able to attend where she met Lady Isabella, an older Spanish woman of high standing running an impressive trading business who took Kitty under her wing. Growing close and respecting Isabella as an older sister, Kitty soon confided her fears of her own mortality and bleak lifespan after news hit of her father's death.

Kitty returned to her ancestral home in Ireland for the funeral, and during her stay there was surprised to encounter Isabella. Grateful for the company at first, she was soon provided with a shocking revelation; Isabella was a vampire, and she wanted Kitty to be one too. Scared at first, Kitty was quickly won over by the promise of a chance to live without fear of an early death. Kitty was turned after she returned to London deathly sick from the trip, and Isabella stayed by her bedside taking care of her. Kitty was raised by her sire to be an exemplary Ventrue, however shortly before the Elysium at which Kitty was to be presented to Mithras, Isabella was called away on urgent business, and though Isabella made sure Kitty was to be well taken care of, she was quickly thrust into a hunt for a killer with a new coterie of other young vampires. Teamed up with relative strangers, Kitty must step up and make her sire proud, even if she may discover that she doesn't follow her sire's clan...

Josephine

As a fellow member of the aristocratic class, even if a French one, Kitty found herself naturally gravitating towards Lady Josephine the most out of her new Coterie. Josephine has been a good friend to Kitty and has allowed her to move into her Bloomsbury address after the massacre in Kitty's home.

Adam

After Kitty's household was slaughtered the Coterie were introduced to Adam, the Scourge of London. He promised to find the ones responsible, and then at the following Elysium gave Kitty a Draught of Potence so she could use his sword to execute the ringleader. Kitty finds him rather handsome and interesting, and appreciates the kindness he's shown her.
