Profile
A dedicated comic writer and associate of a book publisher in Riverview, a beloved brother and supportive friend, Ahjay makes public appearances in geek conventions and game jams in search of new talents for the studio and to boost the art scene in his hometown. Although his bulk may indicate otherwise, Ahjay had been in some pretty hot waters in regards to his health - and to think he is still alive after a stroke is nothing short of a miracle... These comorbidities took a toll on his disposition, subjecting this gentle giant to a slower-paced, freelance job that just happened to match the requirements for his new placement as an talent agent. He lives at the Black River Docks, sharing a container apartment with his older brother Diogo, and his best friend and roommate João

- Although playful and open hearted with his mutual friends, Ahjay gets extremely flustered around his crushes. He avoids conversations, and tries to run away if forced to interact with them!
- During conventions, Ahjay dresses up casually for "business days" and puts up full-body costumes for "party days". As unconventional as it is, this helps Ahjay organizing his priorities during the con events and allows him to socialize with very different crowds of people, separating his co-workers from his geeky friends.
- Ahjay isn't by any means a technophobe, but he doesn't do well interacting with new technologies, such as Alexa or Apple AirTags.
Sibling
Diogo is Ahjay's older brother and the most level-headed of the two. They share many common interests, but their viewpoints could not be more divergent: Ahjay being the lax and chill, while Diogo is the hard-working practical one. Being a dedicated house husband as he is, Diogo is the one that occasionally calls out to his younger brother's and his roommate behaviors - and yet, there won't be a moment when they'll ever doubt each other's brotherly love. Dare even say, their bond might be stronger than any other else they might have in their lives!
Roomate
João and Ahjay met in mid school, and have been best friends since their early years. João is the cheeky schemer of the duo, often getting both him and Ahjay involved in all sorts of shenanigans. Diogo approving it or not, by being none other but himself this lovely rascal João makes Ahjay's life a lot more vibrant and full - often being the one that often lifts up the gentle giant whenever he's having a depression episode...
Secret crush
Ahjay has a hard crush on his landlord Yago, which he tries to avoid as much as possible since they're dating a very scary punk lady. Still, Yago treats Ahjay with the utmost kindness, softly flirting with the idea of having an affair with his sweetest tenant. Yago's dogs can sense Ahjay tensing up and smell his fear, so it's not like he could easily get to Yago anyway! And yet, although Ahjay can't hide his feelings very well, that doesn't mean he shouldn't try approaching his muse once in a while, dog bites or not...~
