Height
Itsuki works at a popular tattoo parlor that has appointments booked out for the next 6 months but somehow seems to never be busy. Never in a rush and always level headed, Itsuki takes things at his own pace.
Itsuki is a bit of a drifter but is always open to pursuing friendships. He is naturally a good conversationalist and has been recommended as the tattoo artist to go to if you’ve never gotten a tattoo before. Itsuki is also a bit of a thrill seeker. In the past, he was a well known street racer. Even though he doesn’t participate as much anymore, his love for racing is as strong as ever.
Aside from his work at the tattoo parlor, Itsuki spends a lot of time playing guitar. As a long time player, he has been in a number of bands from high school until now. Currently, he is the lead vocalist and guitarist of a 3 person band called Tricolor.
personality;
Cool and carefree, Itsuki takes pride in his work and gives off the impression that he’s sure of himself. He follows very straightforward and simple logic and tends not to over complicate or over think things.
Despite his cool and somewhat serious aura, Itsuki is also the type to ask completely pointless questions out of the blue. He doesn’t have a filter and tends to just ask questions like “who mails the mailman’s mail” because he figures it would just be interesting to see what people say. Of course, some people don’t exactly know what to say and are just stunned he’d ask something so absurd.
Itsuki’s carefree nature seeps into his personal relations as well. In the past, Itsuki’s partners have said that he’s a good partner but tends to be very lax about romance. As a partner, Itsuki is not at all concerned about labels and generally treats everyone important to him the same. Being a drifter, Itsuki naturally tries to adapt to his partners and friends. If putting a label on his relationship was important to the other person, he would try to accommodate for that.

He isn’t the biggest fan of sweets. He can stomach them if the sweetness is a little more subtle but generally avoids them.
He has a high alcohol tolerance.
The kanji for his name is 今 (Kon) 一貴 (Itsuki).
story;
Childhood
Itsuki’s childhood was average. He lived with his parents in an upper middle class home. When he was 8 however, his parents got divorced. The divorce wasn’t messy and at first, Itsuki didn’t feel like much had actually changed. Even after the split, it was common for his parents to get together to celebrate holidays and birthdays. His parents still cared about each other and got along fairly well but he could tell they were happier apart.
From a young age, Itsuki’s artistic and musical interests became very apparent. He loved drawing and it wasn’t uncommon to find Itsuki’s notes and homework covered in various doodles. Itsuki also had a strong interest in music. When he was 10, his father took him to see live music. He was so enamored by the band, once the show was over he turned to his father and exclaimed how much he wanted to do that too. For his birthday that year, his parents gave him his first guitar. Itsuki was highly motivated and a quick learner who adamantly kept up with it through his middle and high school years.
Teen Years
When Itsuki entered high school, he was quickly labeled as the “cool art kid”. His love for illustration was obvious to anyone who got to know him and those who didn’t, knew him as the “cool looking kid who played guitar well”. Itsuki was never quite a popular kid, but was friends with pretty much everyone. No one could find a reason to dislike the artsy kid who never stirred the pot. Itsuki became somewhat of a drifter but was content with being able to strike up a conversation with anyone regardless of what clique they belonged to.
After graduating, Itsuki finally had enough money saved up to buy his dream motorcycle. He fell in love with the boundless feeling of freedom he got from zipping around on his bike so it was almost natural that he would find himself immersed in the world of street racing. Itsuki loved the thrill and spent many long nights going head to head with other thrill seekers on the empty city streets when he wasn’t going on joy rides into the outskirts of the city at sunset.
College Years
Itsuki attended a prestigious art school to further hone his illustration skills. There, he met Regan Bijou, a cool and confident photography student. The two were assigned roommates during their first year and lucked out by hitting it off with ease. From that point on, the pair continued to live together and even moved into an actual apartment during the summer before their third year. They lived together until Regan’s photography career began to really flourish and when Itsuki decided to open a tattoo parlor.
During the summer between his first and second year, Itsuki got into an accident while riding his motorcycle. Fortunately, he only suffered a few cuts, bruises, and a couple of broken ribs. However, his bike wasn’t as lucky. Itsuki was too attached to his bike to scrap it and decided to repair it himself no matter how long it takes. The process has been slow, but Itsuki enjoys the time he spends taking care of his old friend.
After the accident, Itsuki took some time off of school to heal. Of course, he also “retired” from street racing. His injuries healed with no problem but he didn’t exactly give himself the proper time to heal mentally. During this break, he took on some freelance jobs and pursued a tattoo apprenticeship. Having a steady hand and a love for illustration allowed him to pick up techniques fairly quickly. Itsuki continued his apprenticeship even after he went back to school. By the end of his third year, Itsuki was offered a position at the tattoo parlor his mentor worked at and began working that summer.
Present Day
Today, Itsuki is a popular tattoo artist. While the shop doesn’t seem very busy at any given moment, somehow Itsuki always has appointments booked for the next six months. It’s a small shop, but Itsuki takes pride in the work he does. He specializes in nature themed and minimalist designs. When he starts working with a customer, Itsuki shows his competence not only through his artistic skill but his dedication to his client. Many of his clients don’t actually get a tattoo after a couple of consulting sessions. Despite taking a longer time than other shops, Itsuki has made a name for himself and his work.
Itsuki spends his free time attempting to repair his motorcycle. The process has been slow and has definitely been a learning experience for him. In the beginning, he consulted Regan who introduced Itsuki to his father as he was an engineer. While he was clumsy at first, it didn’t stop him. Itsuki just felt that it was something he had to do. He’s just about done with all of the repairs but for some reason, can’t bring himself to bring this project to its end. His physical wounds have long since healed over, but Itsuki still hasn’t processed the accident properly. Itsuki hasn’t chased the thrill in quite some time, but he longs for the day he can get back on his bike and feel the wind as he chases the setting sun like he did in the past.
While Itsuki still struggles to get back on his bike, he finds that he dedicates more time to his band. In the past, they worked hard, but were pretty relaxed about whether or not they hit it big time. Nowadays, they spend a lot of time songwriting together and having long jam sessions. They perform regularly at some events and bars but hope to continue growing as a band and perform at larger concert halls.
skills;
Musicality
Itsuki is the vocalist and gutarist of the band Tricolor. He is known to be a very skilled gutarist and has a wide range in the types of music he can play. He sometimes helps out with songwriting but it isn't his best skill.
Illustration
Itsuki has always loved drawing and making art. He was always sketching something even when he was supposed to be doing something else. Itsuki loves working as a tattoo artist because it lets him make meaningful art pieces for people.
Bike Repair/Maintainence
After his accident, Itsuki dedicated a lot of time to repairing his motorcycle. It was definitely a learning process but Itsuki was determined and now understands his bike better than before.
relationships;
Regan (it's complicated)
They first met in college as roommates and grew close as they continued to cohabitate. During the summer between their junior and senior years, they began dating and continued to do so throughout the year. Unfortunately, due to many miscommunications and a difference in how they thought of their relationship, they fell apart. Itsuki really did care for Regan and wanted to reassure him of his feelings for him but Itsuki’s relaxed demeanor seemed to just make Regan feel more anxious. A few years have passed since then and they have been trying to get back to the way they were before. While Itsuki has tried treating Regan like he did before they dated, Regan has put up some resistance. Itsuki doesn’t want to push too hard and has convinced himself that Regan will come around in due time.
Elliot (friend)
Itsuki met Elliot shortly after Elliot had helped Regan out of a stressful situation at school and were now working on a collaborative piece for their midterm project. As they were spending more time together, it was only a matter of time before Itsuki got to meet Elliot. The two didn’t exactly hit it off immediately, and Itsuki could tell Elliot felt a little awkward so he tried to ease into a more relaxed atmosphere. They soon found out they shared a lot of the same interests and started bonding over music. They never had the chance to take a class together but Elliot helped print part of one of Itsuki’s final projects. Nowadays they still spend time together and are each other’s go to partner for concerts and music festivals
Sena (friend)
Itsuki first met Sena one night at a bar over a year ago. Itsuki and Regan had just broken up and he was feeling lonely. He and Sena started flirting and talking and just as things seemed to be going well, Sena suddenly burst into tears. Not really sure what to do, Itsuki brought Sena home to his own apartment. Despite knowing him for such a short time, he wanted to help Sena if he could. Itsuki cleaned Sena up and calmed him down. That night, Itsuki spent the night but they only slept next to each other in Sena’s bed. Sena was embarrassed but Itsuki assured him that it was no problem. What kind of person would he be if he didn’t take care of Sena that night? The two kept in touch and grew closer. They often eat out together and share whatever new bands they find with each other.
Morgan (friend)
Itsuki and Morgan have known each other since high school. The two were both interested in music but never had the chance to play together as they were always part of different bands. They went through their high school careers acknowledging each other’s skills but never quite becoming friends. After graduating, they were reunited by chance when they were both still in college. Itsuki had pretty much healed physically from his bike accident and Morgan was working at a record shop. The pair hit it off and decided to start a band together. Today they are known as Tricolor.

Altair (friend)
Altair is Itsuki’s neighbor from down the hall. The building is a bit of a trek from his tattoo parlor but it offered a climate controlled garage and was decently priced. At first, they just politely ignored each other but Itsuki began to take notice of Altair after he realized they had very similar commutes. One day, Itsuki helped a very overworked and flustered Altair pick up documents and papers that had been strewn about their shared hallway. From that point on, the two acknowledge each other and even strike up conversations during their morning commute. Every once in a while, they’ll grab a drink after work at Aegis.
Eve (friend)
They met one night at a bar that was hosting an indie music night. Eve came on strong and Itsuki thought he would be a difficult person to deal with. Despite that, Itsuki was personable and found himself conversing with the other for a good hour or two, thinking this was a one time meet up. However, they began to see each other more frequently as the bars and music nights they were interested in had a lot of overlap. Slowly, the two warmed up to each other and found a strange, yet comfortable sense of solace.
