| Short description One of "the Newcomers", the half-alive experimental beings that randomly pop out of nowhere, destined only to destroy and kill; some kind of weird phenomenon that no one can explain (they're produced by some mysterious Master). Rainil is somewhat special here - even though he doesn't take a part in their actions, as he's too weak for using his inner energy, he has one unusual unique trait. He's the only one person being able to "communicate" with the Master and spread their words through his "family", he can predict a lot of things (like when and where the next Newcomers will appear), that's why he's so important for the halcylian mafia, despite he's not active there as the ones who murder and manipulate others. They treat him like their prophet, even though he's not proud of it at all. Actually Rainil hates his own existence and seems to be aware how wrong, unnatural and malicious are the Newcomers for the world in general. They keep him locked in some dark mansion with an older halcylian lady as a guardian and pay him visits whenever they think it's necessary. He has really poor health condition and every attempt of connecting with the Supreme Being costs him a lot, so he's always in a constant pain. Due to Variel's actions, he gets a chance to escape from the Zevelia group. |
| Personality Very calm, taciturn, serious and timid. Although he clearly can't stand himself, he is aware of his meaning for the mafia members and expects to be treated specially. Rainil personally hates Zevelia not for all their horrible actions towards innocent people, but mostly for that they force him to do the things that cost him a lot. He does not want to leave the group though, he doesn't wish for anything else than death and is even unable to imagine living a different life - there's literally no hope in him. Rainil seems to have no idea about the concepts of good and evil and doesn't know what can be considered as morally wrong. He claims that all Zevelia's actions are hopeless and unworthy, he doesn't believe in the halcylian supremacy at all, but he's still obedient to them. He never thinks about rebelling against them, but secretly he really wants to destroy himself only for making Zevelia's leaders mad (and of course end his painful life - he doesn't see any other choices for him). |

| Some other fun facts - His hair is black, not purple, and his eyes are dark blue - While other Newcomers usually have a lifespan of ~15 years, Rainil, who appeared as terminally ill person, can only live up to 5 years, and seems like he is aware of it (yet he still wants to end his life as possible) - It's not clear which illness he exactly has, but struggles with problems with breathing and heart rate - He can spend long hours watching snails, for most of the time he does literally nothing - He totally looks like a lovechild of Alfard and Tarisa what the actual hell |
