About

Ouro is a calm, gentle but a seemingly mute man who rarely cares about his own self, in exchange for the betterment and benefits of the others he cares about. He only talks when its necessary, but most of his communication is through his actions and body language. At first he is considered hard to approach and taciturn but many could tell he thinks nothing but respect and kindness to those around him.
He greatly cares about the safety of the inhabitants of his home, the Palace and wouldn't hesitant using his own body to harm if it meant to save them. He cares little for personal gain, as his mysterious origin entirely changed his mindset overtime. But because of his appearance, he has an indomitable presence when standing besides a whole crowd.

When it comes to love and his line of work, he is actually quite a romantic. Ouro is prone to react differently to the smallest hint of romantic affection. Especially given flowers and candy, he is easy flustered regarding these kinds of situations, as he isn't used to being on the receiving end of the relationship - even if it's just temporary.

• Ouro has acquired a unique ability called "Golden Blood"
  > His blood is the color of gold and it solidifies the moment it exits his body. Scars and scabs also solidify into gold.
  > Picking the scabs hurts more excessively, unfortunately.
  > He doesn't get bruised at all since he's acquired Golden Blood. However, he is still prone to getting cuts and open wounds.
  > Has not gotten sick from anything since then.
• Ouro works and lives in a privately owned (and hidden) business that runs both like a professional brothel system and love-hotel. This business is called the Palace.
  > The Palace can only be accessed through two places: a precarious underground maze, or the very hidden doorway through a small tailor shop.
  > The owner of the tailor shop, Maximille Durand, also owns and oversees the Palace. Him and the other Palace workers would publicly appear as one of Maximille's suit models to help hide his identity.
  > He isn't as popular, but he's lived long enough to know how to get the job done :3c
• Sex isn't entirely what he does for a living. He was trained to offer all sorts of comfort in many different ways.
  > Such as massage sessions, taking his clients out on dates, drinking with them, talking, etc.
• The scars across his face was from a brawl that occurred outside of the bar he often spent his time in, in attempt to protect the bar, customers, and his bartending friends.
• Would eat anything and everything that would be offered to him. Even poison, which would not affect him unless it's in unrealistically high dosages. It's almost impossible for him to get drugged - even if he wanted to.
• Because of his physical capabilities, he's sometimes put on guard duty or would be the first to be physically depended on if anything happens at his job.
• I would like to specify he has a big chest. I mean some serious honkers. A real set of badonkers. Packin some dobonhonkeros. Massive dohoonkabhankoloos. big old tonhongerekoogers-

• All of the jewelry he wears (rings, earrings, etc) are all made of the solidified blood.
  > Before he started working in the sex industry, he would purposefully make himself bleed just to collect gold and sell them for money. Because of it, he's grown to have a high pain tolerance.
• All of his buttoned-up shirts have to be custom made.
  > Even then, sometimes the buttons would pop off and Maximille most often has to fix them after at least a month of wearing them.
• Loves to eat sour candies and foods.
• Easily flustered when he gets gifts - especially flowers.

Backstory

Ouro was born with severe anemia. Often fatigued and sick at a young age, most of his childhood was ruined because of his poor health. However, he met a man to who he believed was a god, and was instantly put to sleep after just seeing him for a few minutes. Soon, he woke up with his blood flowing with gold - giving him the ability to live longer than others.

Him and his family didn't live a very lavish life. And his mother was the only individual in the house that was able to sustain the family with food and a place to live. And most of the time, to help make ends meet and to help his parents - he often found himself attempting to hurt himself to rack in money with the gold that left his body.

But even then, his parents didn't live long enough for Ouro to live a happy life. He was only in his young adult years (fresh off of high school) when his parents died from health complications and lived most of his life living alone and struggling to maintain his money. Even living in California, he found it difficult to even live by himself and often jumped to different homes he resorted to using his own body to make ends meet.

He found sanctuary in a bar, and his closest friends were the bartenders that owned the place. His unique biological condition has become part of his character and one of many of his selling points. Therefore it has brought the attention to the Jeweler in the town, who sought him specifically for his condition. Ouro cared very little about himself as he lets Kaiser drag him to his shop, but his newfound partner cared for him constantly. Duncan possibly spoils him, providing him a set of clothes, a place to sleep, food, and even asks him what other things he needed to do to give Ouro a suitable life in return for his cooperation. Ouro is already satisfied settling in his home in the Palace that Duncan set him up with. With Kaiser's cooperation and befriending the other Palace Residents, he can't ask for anything more.

(Story) The Prodigal

He didn't think much about the Palace, and especially complained very little working there. His boss, Maximille was a tireless worker, and was concerned that his inexperience would bring him down. But Durand did not mind much whether or not he was experienced or not, but rather taught him how to use his work to obtain the little information that was useful for this private affiliation that was involved in creating the Pavilion. Him working there the longest allows him to understand the protocol given to him.

He plays as the caretaker to most of the employees whenever Durand is busy with his own personal business. But even then, he still tries his hardest to offer a hand in that line of work. In exchange for Maximille letting him stay at the Palace as his very own home, he would be forced to travel with him as his own walking model.

Relationships

Kaiser  [ Partner ]

Ouro and Kaiser's relationship... is complicated. He understands he's mostly needed due to the condition he's currently going through. And in return, Kaiser gives in a multitude of favors. Providing a home, having a companion, having his meals paid, and his clothes bought. Though he is paid well working for Maximille, which is far enough to provide his own needs, he has a tendency of going back to Duncan. It's not out of sheer laziness, but... perhaps Ouro likes having a close connection to him despite he doesn't speak openly about it.

Ender  [ Friend ]

Ender and Ouro don't need to speak to each other to maintain both of their trust. And despite their lack of speaking, their personalities are so contrasted. Yet they never argue... perhaps because they don't want to start exchanging words. Regardless, Ouro sees Ender as a reliable man and the bartender always offers a free drink or two.

Bart  [ Friend ]

Bart never fails to put a smile on Ouro's face. His jokes, his smiles, and most importantly his optimistic behavior always seems to brighten up the man's face somehow. And if it weren't for him and Ender, for sure Ouro wouldn't have found himself a more better place (and job) that he could call home and live comfortably. And he would be more than willing to put his life on the line if it meant protecting the bar that the brothers own.

Durand  [ Boss ]

Max is the one man that he hates to disappoint. And no matter how many times he gets a lecture from him, he still can't help think that he hasn't done enough for the Palace to satisfy him. Although it's just Maximille, in general, that always appear aggravated for no reason. Ouro wants to do his best to satisfy Durand, especially when it was his boss that brought him into the Palace and helped him get back up onto his feet.
So, he and the other Palace workers often offer themselves to work as Maximille's models when it comes to annual showcases.
