Hazel Natsuki

Personality:

Hazel has lot of trouble reading the mood, and uses dark humor to keep out of social situations. With Michi, however, he's able to express himself more comfortably and has a considerable amount of trust with him. Occasionally, the gaps in his memory make it difficult at times to understand some of the feelings that he has in a given moment. 

Background:

Hazel is one of the members of the Organization, and hails from a long standing line of assassins. He is expected by his parents to take the mantle and continue the business, with the family even being a major benefactor for the Organization's funding and general research on improving their line of work. 

However, when Hazel's grandfather passes, he comes to find out that rather than his parents, all of the money has been given to him. On top of that, the money was hidden somewhere important to Hazel -- the fair in which Michi and him spent their younger years -- with the express intent that, should Hazel not want to be an assassin anymore, he could walk away from the company. This baffles not only him, but his parents as well, who start to question where it is. When Hazel doesn't give his parents the answers they want, they turn to the rapidly splitting branch of the Organization to find alternative ways to get the information out of Hazel. This is a key part of why DRcade2 exists, as it's the main driving point to finally get the ex-organization members to finally take action.

After the events of DRcade2, Hazel awakes puzzled, at first completely devoid of any memories from his past. However, as he spends more and more time with Michi, he's slowly begun to pick up the pieces that were left behind -- even if he's not always sure how to put the pieces together. 

Other Notes:

• Hazel's last name, Natsuki, is another way to read 'Harvest Moon'. 
• After the events of DRcade2, Nikola has adopted Hazel wholeheartedly, and is doing anything within their power to ensure Hazel has a 'normal' life. They are keeping a firm watch on their birth parents as well, having seen how poorly they've treated him. 
• Hazel's family were so dedicated to improving their linage that they put Hazel under various experiments, one in which a Seraph's cells were injected in him. This is why Hazel is still capable of forming memories - and even showing signs of recovering from his amnesia - in post game; is why Ivory (along with other seraphim) has trouble erasing his memories; and why demons cannot take his identity. 
• Hazel also has the ability to subtly alter memories in order to improve their ability to hide. He has no control over this ability, but the ability itself is rather weak - it only works when he's trying to be stealthy, and when he's spotted, there's a chance people can still recognize him if he's not quick to hide again.
