• Mori's name is a bit of a redundancy, with both words relating to death. She knows this, but thinks it's cool.
• She is based on a mimic octopus and a octopus stinkhorn fungus.

• Mori appears to be a Mimic octopus combined with octopus stinkhorn fungus traits.
• Her eyes are almost always closed and her 'hands' almost always behind her back, under her robes.
• In total she has 14 tentacles unlike real octopi; Her 2 arms, her 8 legs, her 2 "ears", and the 2 face tentacles.
• She is 3 ft tall, and when standing on the tips of her leg tentacles and stretching them out is 3 ft 4 inches.
• Her beak through which she talks, eats, and drinks is hidden under and behind her face tentacles.

Mori Macabre is a very strange and morbid young girl. In some ways she is a normal 8 year old child, playing games like hide and seek, doodling with crayons for fun, splashing in puddles, and eating candies. However, other things she does such as purposely causing 'accidents' and indirectly harming others, are not as normal. She finds it also very enjoyable to scare people. She will talk about an "imaginary friend" she has and tell others this imaginary friend has told her it will kill them in various gruesome ways. She speaks in a very emotionless monotone way and barely shows emotion, so it's very hard to tell when she's joking or not... if she ever is.

Biology

Mori is a fungus, which is a unique type of organism. They are long descended from angels, evolved to life on Earth over thousands of years, turned into something entirely different. They feed off human thought and brain matter. Mori in particular is very young and doesn't eat much, so it's usually safe to be around her for a few hours. Being around her for more than 24 hours without breaks, though, can cause side effects.

Personal Life

Mori keeps a lot of her life a mystery other than very basic things. She has confirmed she is 8 years old, is a girl, and her family comes from a place near an ocean (though the exact location is unknown). She disguises herself as a human to move around in human society without being caught. She doesn't do anything overtly evil but will be creepy and sometimes cause trouble. Her goal, given to her by Morbus, is to study humanity. In recent times due to interactions she's had with humans, she's begun to reconsider if she supports her parent's goal.
