Shiloh Bower's Links
Thanks to Shiloh's relaxed (and lax in general) approach to life and interaction, Dominic finds him the most relatable of the group of four. If he wants to get away from Connor's childish brashness or Greyson's numbing negativity, he'll invite Shiloh to outings consisting of just the two of them. Frequently Shiloh declines, and although some might consider Shiloh to be unreliable, Dominic knows he has his reasons. He also knows that Shiloh will always come through for him in regards to care for Carlisle, Dominic’s nephew. He's immensely thankful for that and it shows.
Connor is, by nature, Shiloh's antithesis. His loud, unpredictable, energetic, and brawly nature is overwhelming to Shiloh, so he opts to avoid him on days that are already tough enough without him in them. Ever since Connor joined his group of friends, Shiloh has been less and less involved with them. Home is much more relaxed and fight-free, after all.
Connor finds Shiloh to be tollerable, if not a bit on the bland side. They're opposites in many ways aside from their inability to complete most of what they start, but even then, Connor tries. Shiloh doesn't. It's hard for Connor to befriend someone who is so insipid and carefree. Connor also has a vague, strange feeling that Shiloh is annoyed by him.
Though he's quick to tire of all the dourness and complaints, Shiloh believes that Greyson, overall, is a good guy. They met because Shiloh blurted out a greeting that Greyson believed was for him (though it was actually a tick). Shiloh explained himself and, interestingly, the stranger continued to engage him. Their conversation was mostly dominated by Greyson while Shiloh nodded and "mm-hmm"ed, but the exchanged was beneficial enough for both of them to swap numbers. They meet up at a bar with two other friends whenever Shiloh isn't too tired or occupied to go.
Though Greyson typically sees unexpected greetings from strangers as a nuisance, being alone in an unfamiliar city has a way of changing peoples' perceptions. Because of this, he was very welcoming of Shiloh's greeting, and even after he found out the greeting wasn't meant for him (or for anyone), he still wanted to talk. Their conversation only lasted as long as the segment of bus route they shared, but they were reintroduced by a mutual friend. Greyson now knows Shiloh isn't the most reliable of friends, and while he often finds his laziness frustrating, he still hasn't forgotten the kindness Shiloh showed him the first day they met.
