BADGER
seems possessed.
Badger (or Genaro) is easygoing and difficult to phase, barring his extreme aversion to touch and other's disturbing his belongings.
He is also completely unhelpful, usually changing subjects when asked to do something he does not want to do and ignoring conversations he does not fully understand instead of asking for clarification.
Badger is a practiced artist who works mostly in homemade charcoal and paint, he dedicates a lot of time to gathering supplies to make his artworks that he often immediately destroys for any one of a myriad of reasons. He makes most of the other men uncomfortable because he is difficult for them to talk to, and because he is uncharacteristically pushy and aggressive about procuring models for his work.
He is covertly extremely bitter and nihilistic, he holds spite for anyone who wrongs him in brief, intense bursts. Badger is easily annoyed but conflict avoidant, he rarely gets loud or physical. He loves to birdwatch, and is preoccupied with all things that fly, including butterflies and planes. The only task he will reliably accomplish is carrying messages, though they may take unreasonable amounts of time to reach their destination, and he will definitely read them or make pornographic edits to their contents with vary degrees of competent forgery. Badger doesn't seem particularly interested in having anyone like or care for him, even his relationship with his cousin has grown colder over time, and he sometimes actively tries to upset him to have more space to himself.
He is Italian and from Naples, he has a good grasp on English grammar but has a lot of difficulty on vocabulary, often needing to have words for places and objects repeatedly explained to him. He speaks with a distinct blunted affect. A lot of the other men consider him rather stupid or slow, and can often speak over him like he isn't there. Anyone who can recognize his actual intellect (often the more empathetic men) generally just regard him as a pervert.
- Vinny is his cousin who he grew up with, and considers his brother after losing his real brother in an accident as a child. They enlisted together and have taken every possible action to ensure that they stay together. Badger tends to stay just far enough away from Vinny that they generally stay out of eachothers business, but close enough that they can find eachother frequently.
- Adam is a subject of much of Badger's pestering. He wants very badly to draw a full nude portrait of Adam, Adam does not want to do this. Otherwise he tolerates Badger because of his willingness to listen and his similar lack of empathy.
- Boner frequently commissions Badger to draw the creatures hes discovered, Badger will only do this if he's in a really good mood. Otherwise he mostly uses the opportunity to mock and bully Bones. Bones is under the impression that Badger is just an idiot. Badger is certain that Bones is an idiot.
- Diamond is not sure if he is human, but respects him nonetheless.
