Clothing Style

Purity always dresses very nicely in lovely dresses, although the complexity of the design depends on how formal the occasion may be. She can wear rather ornate gowns for formal events and rather simple dresses for more casual events, traveling, or while out meeting with the townsfolk. In general, she usually wears long dresses while in the palace and saves shorter dresses for traveling or outdoor events that might require more movement or activity. Her clothes are always elegant and modest, and she tends to prefer light and soft colors. Her footwear usually consists of heels of varying levels of adornment, although she prefers simple designs. The same goes for her flats she tends to wear for events that involve a lot of walking or are outdoors, especially if outdoors on the grass. She does have a few pairs of traveling boots though, her favorites being silver.

Her common casual or traveling look consists of a silver knee-length dress with a purple, crystal motif belt. She wears this along with her silver boots, silver gloves, and a purple traveling cloak with a crystal brooch. Her jewelry tends to be silver as well, including her earrings and tiara. Although she has many different tiaras, her favorite is a simple silver one. Whatever the occasion may be though, she does not go anywhere without some kind of gloves and earrings as accessories, in accordance with Bellinan tradition.

Personality

Purity is the polite, down to earth, and serene crown princess of Crystaless with all the confidence and initiative to one day lead her people. As expected of any typical princess, Purity is a fair and dainty young woman who is eloquent with her speech and graceful in her movements. She is always well-mannered and manages to keep her cool in the most stressful of situations. At times her boldness and confidence in looking after her people can be somewhat surprising, for despite her appearance and mannerisms, she's more than willing to take matters into her own hands to ensure the safety of her subjects. Her caretakers tend to think she's a little more headstrong and adventurous than they'd like, but Purity doesn't like being fussed over or treated like she's helpless or can't handle being out in the world. She's more than capable of fending for herself, and she will selflessly come to the aid of anyone in need.

Despite her seemingly perfect behavior in public, Purity does take after her mother and has a healthy sense of humor. She can be rather mischievous and enjoys playing little pranks on people closely associated with her, such as her maids and guardians. She tends to be rather playful with her personal guard, Addle Devious, whom she harbors affection for. Since he tends to be very stiff and constantly in his work mindset, she tends to tease him playfully and sometimes purposefully do things that fluster him, whether it be doing mildly risky things to get his attention or being more intimate with him than he's comfortable with as a mere vassal. Purity hopes Addle might feel the same way back, so she usually tries to prod him into being affectionate with her, and she's been working at it stubbornly since he's just as stubbornly set in these boundaries he seems to think she should have for herself.

Backstory

Princess Purity was born and raised as any typical princess by her mother, Queen Wenona. She grew into an ideal heiress to the throne whom her people adored. Purity also took it upon herself to learn numerous rifting balances along with the art of enchanted songs. Her most powerful songs are her lullabies, which she learned from her mother (despite the fact her mother rarely uses them herself). She always got along well with her younger sister, Buffy, and was pleased to know that her sister had no issues with Purity being the crown princess to one day take the place as ruler.

During her childhood there was an incident in which Purity fell off a balcony while reaching for an apple in a nearby tree. A squire named Addle Devious, who had noticed her while in the training yard, managed to fly over with his wings and catch her. She grew to like this boy for saving her, and a few years later when she heard he had been promoted to a full fledged knight, she requested he be added to the royal guard. Despite his age, Queen Wenona recommended him for the position as well, and Addle ended up being appointed as Purity's personal guard. Purity enjoyed spending more time with him since he had to accompany her almost everywhere and ensure her safety, and she hoped her crush would be reciprocated by the rather stoic young knight.

While growing up, Crystaless had been in an age of overall peace, yet during Purity's early teen years this peace was shattered when the barrier dividing the Barren Ranges from Crystal Field was destroyed, allowing masses of Clones to invade the land. She was captured during the first wave of attacks on the castle, yet she ended up working with another captured foreigner named Daven Karma to work against the leader of the invading Clones, Lord Bookun. Both were freed when Mackerby Rainstle arrived at Mount Bookun and they joined forces to strike the Clone tyrant down.

Following this event, Princess Purity has been more active in her role as the crown princess, and she's been heading the majority of diplomatic efforts in cooperating with other royals of Crystaless. She encountered Mackerby numerous times in combating further threats to Crystaless. In the present day, the time for her to ascend the throne is approaching. Although not required, there's been the long-standing expectation that she will select a husband prior to ascending the throne. Purity still only fancies Addle though, yet she is uncertain if her kingdom will approve of the choice she wants to make, or if he will accept her.
