The mysterious author of various history books and a journalist of great renown throughout the lands.
Nobody knows if his name is a mere pen nickname or his actual name and his backstory and lineage are unknown to many, if not all.

GENERAL
He's honestly a snobbish arse, a bit spoiled, and absolutely op if he wants to.
His overall personality is cold and very objective, his ideal being the absolute truth to everyone and everything, no matter how harsh. In reality, deep down under a concrete shell of self-preserving hides a loyal and kind heart with a few too many problems, a heart he will never fully show anybody until the day he dies.

BACKSTORY
He was the single son of a line of nobles, being severely sheltered all his youth and barely put in contact with his disinterested parents, only being kept behind by maids and servants of the house. On some days he'd sneak out in the nearby woods, meeting a rather peasant girl of a nearby village and becoming her friend in secret.
Years passed and he was homeschooled to become a 'capable in everything' nobleman with him being deeply interested in history and writing, but at night, in secret, he still snuck out to meet with the girl, eventually falling in love with her.
The night they confessed their love, they made a promise: their relationship was to remain secret no matter the situation.
A couple of years passed, Actaeon's parents succumbing to an illness and leaving all the money and real estate to him even if he didn't care a single bit about them even during their funerals. He began publishing his first works and they were generally well-perceived by the media, the girl being a great supporter of his and giving him the constant strength to push forward. Until one day, after the homicide of a local farmer, the main suspect pushed all the claims on the girl and used a loophole to trap her in a death sentence. He knew the truth behind the whole situation, wanting to get in it and bring everything to light but she kept persisting to keep the promise and not worry, scared that he'd also be sentenced.
The day she died was the darkest day of his life, the house of the suspect and judge on the case burning down mysteriously during the night. Since that day he felt like a part of him disappeared, becoming a colder, more serious no-nonsense man, focusing intently on bringing the real truth out of anything and anyone, no matter the methods or laws in certain kingdoms.
Now he travels the lands, writing about the kingdoms in real concrete truth and occasionally returning to her grave to give her letters as if she was still there.
