| BUILD: | muscular and fat. He has supernatural strength and health due to being a Shadow Creature (being shot, stabbed, hit by a car, doesn't bother him at all; and there's a big chance that whatever hit him will suffer more damage than Gordon himself due to impact with his sturdy body). That doesn't mean that he's immortal, however - he still could be killed if he sustains enough heavy damage. |

| TRUE FORM: | As a Shadow Creature, Gordon can switch between his 'disguised' form (described above), and True Form. In his True Form his fur gets much darker. In this form, he has a row of twelve eyes in total on his face; two jaws on his snout and two more on his belly. He also grows in size, and grows additional spikes on his back and tail. |
PERSONALITY
SKILLS
| Gordon is a stubborn, grumpy dog. However, he has a strong sense of righteousness and is eager to punish those who consciously harm others. He enjoys being mean to those who, in his opinion, deserve it, and will often threaten and scare them into behaving well (and won't hesitate to take drastic measures). He rarely jokes around and seems to have little sense of humor. Despite his mean demeanor, he actually doesn't get angry without a serious reason. He's cold towards strangers and most people, and sometimes can act rude, but he's not aggressive. His intentions are always clear and he always speaks his mind. He would never tell a lie, and once befriended - he's very trustworthy. Gordon is also quite lazy and doesn't like chores, but he patrols the town at night every now and then. The canine is very protective towards his wife, and shows his softer side around her - though, that doesn't stop them from quarreling over mundane things, such as whose turn it is to clean the house. |
| Gordon is a creature that controls darkness. Aside from switching into a more powerful form, he can summon black shadowy spikes or claws that sprout from the ground or the walls. His more mundane skills include driving a train and having immense physical strenght. |

BACKSTORY
| Gordon grew up in an orphanage after being found on its steps as a baby. He spent his entire childhood there and grew very fond of his caretaker, Rita, who became like a mother to him. After he grew up, Gordon took residence in a nearby train station, where he was planning to work - but soon after he left the orphanage, Rita got murdered by street thugs. Gordon witnessed that, and unspeakable rage and grief filled his heart, and caused him to reveal his True Form. Blinded by emotions, he killed the thugs - and the townspeople never figured out what really happened. They blamed some wild animal, and driven by fear - left the town one by one. Gordon remained in the - then abandoned - train station, until Sword came to the empty town and approached him. She showed compassion and understanding, and the two stuck together - Sword teaching Gordon about his powers, and the hound protecting her at all costs. Later on, he proposed to the catess and the two got married. Now Gordon and Sword live in Checkerstown, often patrolling the streets on their own, to make sure everything is in order. |
