Jackson is an emotional, at times whiny young boy who possesses fire based magic. He's best friends with Sarah, who has water based magic. He's the more emotionally expressive and hot-tempered of the two, unable of letting things go easily. Though he makes bad decisions at times due to his emotions, he tries to do the right thing. He enjoys cooking but has an... interesting way of doing so; he tries to make his cooking style as flashy and extravagant as possible using his fire magic, but this usually ends up ruining the food; he actually can make delicious dishes if he just uses the kitchen materials like a normal person would.

- He's also scared of Sarah's mom; he tries to act extremely formally when she's around

- Thinks chain e-mails and posts are real and truly believes he's going to die if he doesn't repost or share with friends. He goes to Sarah giving this long speech and saying what she can have of his stuff, only for her to have to explain that he's not going to die
