Profile

"You fool. Next time when you fight an enemy, don't be such an idiot." [ from EPISODE 0: THE COMIC ]

Noir is a sentient being of supercondensed negative space.

He was created by the innate, incoherent will of all negative space for one reason: to perpetuate chaos in the universe that wasn't. It did not care for a new universe because it did not live for anything other than chaos. Rather than seeing the Reversal Mirror as an opportunity, he saw it as a tool for destruction. Because of his purpose, its sole opposition is Blanc, a being of positive space.

Due to its classification, he carries all the motives of negative space as his own. His drive for an end to everything around him knows no bounds, and so he intends to find any method to see himself as the victor of the universe that wasn't and the catalyst of its excision. Even should it be considered "immoral", he doesn't care. He doesn't know what a "moral" is; he has nothing else to care for other than himself, giving it an extremely cynical, cold and demeaning attitude. Everything has an end, even in nothingness. He just wants it to happen faster.

Color Synopsis

Noir has no color.

Because he is composed of strictly negative space, moreover, he is the constant conflagration of all possible colors, despite not strictly in possession and taking control of one. His powers, as well as his own limits, are unknown... It could either be limited or limitless. The only known restriction, though it is never displayed, is that his powers are substantially hindered when outside the Void.

Appearances

EPISODE 0 - REVERSAL ASCENSION
In the beginning, there existed nothing but three things: positive space, negative space, and the Reversal Mirror—an item of limitless power. Even though both sides knew of the Mirror's power, neither positive nor negative space paid any attention to it, for they were too busy vying for superiority. Over countless centuries, however, the war became a tirade... and it wasn't until a century after that the polar spaces deigned to consider it. So, to take control of the Mirror, the positive space condensed itself into a being with sentience, and created Blanc. The negative space followed in its footsteps, and in turn condensed itself down into their own being with sentience: Noir. Their desire for chaos—to remove all positive space—served as their own wish: one just unclear enough to be granted.

Despite their similarities inciting an overall 701-year long battle, Blanc took control of the Mirror, and in just a matter of seconds, "eradicated" Noir from existence. For once, after so much time, the universe that wasn't... was a little more "wasn't". But it was a necessary sacrifice to create the universe that would be. To one, it would've seemed like the negative energy was gone... but it was only a facade that would play itself out for years later.
