☀️Appearance ☀️

About 5'6" as a human...he's not exactly consistent with his height.  He just shoots for about average height.

If he didn't actually try to keep the shape of a person, he would be shaped closer to a rabbit's body with bird legs.

Wears tons of layers, if he can get away with it, since it's easier to look human shaped that way. He gets better at it as he ages. Azrec does struggle to keep his form under control if he takes damage or uses his shapeshifting offensively. The poor dude spends so much money buying and repairing his clothes.
Azrec does try to keep his human shape as compacted and lean as possible so people will underestimate him

Has a hard time leavings things alone once he gets focused on them.

🌕Backstory🌕

Lives in a high fantasy medieval setting. Sort of equivalent to IRL 1100's AD

Distant descendant to V'endalin. He's like 8+ generations out. Has no idea that he's related to an eldritch deity.

Knows he is descended from a monster that insists that his relatives just call him "Grandfather" . His family aren't the only people in the world to be descended from a monster, it's just a rare a occurrence and is marked by having weird kids that generally are talented magic users

Born into a branch of the family that are unremarkable when it came to magic and are basically normal humans at this point Azrec is the firstborn of his parents. Spent the first two years of his life living in a barrel because his parents had no idea what else to do with a fast-moving monster baby that looked like bony lump of flesh with bird feet. His father begged a local priest to write to mages that his wife claimed to be related to in hopes that one of them would come and take their kid so they would not have to deal with it.
Cyrelle (who's something like Azrec's 1st cousin 5 times removed) eventually showed up and took ownership of Azrec. She raised him as a mix between a pet and a child because she had no idea if Azrec would grow up to be sapient or not. He does not consider Cyrelle his mother. Refers to her as his aunt

Azrec started actually being the equivalent of a child when he was about 7. Picked to be referred to exclusively as male when he was a teenager. 

While he does become a mage, he is not very talented in magic. It's hard for him to learn and master new magics (day-to-day typically just sticks to the same old handful of tricks). Does make up for it with that he can manipulate his flesh.
Rarely uses 'actual' magic in a fight because of this. Best at telekinesis.

Does eventually go and meet Grandfather against Cyrelle's advice. Describes the meeting as a "regrettable and uncomfortable experience". Not as bad as Cyrelle's experience, but still does not want to talk to Grandfather ever again

Azrec does end up marrying a low ranked noble woman and has a couple of odd kids with her

Probably setting his story when he's in his early 30s
