☀️Appearance ☀️

Wears men's style of clothing and cuts her hair short into almost a page boy cut

Has scarring on her right cheek and the upper right of her chest from molten metal/rock. 

Looks human for the most part. The only real clue most people get that she is descended from a monster is her magic. While she is able to cast normal magic, her strongest ability is that she is able to have a skeleton fold out from her. Said skeleton is extremely hot and inhumanly strong. It's close range only ability, but if she gets someone with it, they are done. Cyrelle is not sure if the skeleton is literally her skeleton or not. 

Does have clawed hands. There is no transition from flesh to nail, it's just one continuous piece. Her hands don't have the slight give of flesh, instead feel completely solid if squeezed. If Cyrelle really wanted to, she could fight using her claws. She refrains from doing so because it makes her feel like an animal (something even lesser than both a human and a monster). It is falsely believed that he hands appear the way they do because she is wearing fancy gloves.

✴️Personality✴️

Cyrelle considers herself to be a monster. She is a creature, something definably inhuman. This is NOT something she says as a negative statement to herself. Cyrelle spent her youth living as one, and her life even now isn't all that different. As she views it, the only change is that she knows all the rules on how to behave as a human, but simply acting human does not make her one.

🌕Backstory🌕

Lives in a high fantasy medieval setting. Sort of equivalent to IRL 1100's AD

3 generations out from V'endalin. Cyrelle has no idea that she's related to a eldritch creature, just that her great grandfather is very much a monster. Knows she is descended from a monster that insists that his relatives just call him "Grandfather" . Her family aren't the only people in the world to be descended from a monster, it's just a rare a occurrence and is marked by having weird kids that generally are talented magic users

Monster lineage comes from her father, who is the middle child of Grandfather's kids. Cyrelle is the oldest and longest lived of her siblings. One of the longest lived descendants of Grandfather. 

Never married, had a daughter, but outlived her. 

She has outlived her parents, siblings, and child. By the time she meets Azrec, Cyrelle is around a couple hundred years old. Looks to be about her late 30s/early 40s. She does age, just very slowly.

Has met Grandfather twice. Describes the first meeting as unfortunate. Says the second time was easily the worst decision she's made in her entire life

Cyrelle purposefully travelled as far as she could without taking a boat to get away from Grandfather. She deeply misses her father and uncle, she often wonders how they are doing. Cyrelle is not aware that her father died several decades after she left.

Adopted and raised Azrec. Refers to him as her nephew and he refers to her as his aunt. Genuinely loves the kid. She has only admitted to him that she loved him once and, even then, she's not sure if he actually heard her. Expresses how much she cares for him by putting a lot of effort into remembering what he talks to her about. Buys him things that she remembers him mention, granted sometimes it has been years since he brought the thing up so he occasionally winds up with things he thought were neat as a young child.

Works as a court magician for the king. She is 1 out of the 2 that work directly for him. She's the one that usually gets sent out on 'errands'.

In fights, she uses magic as a defense almost exclusively. A huge tactic in magic battles is to block, disrupt, and/or redirect an opponent's magic. Since her skeleton ability is an innate talent, another mage can't prevent her from using it. So, she'll use her regular magic to ruin her opponent's spells and then hit them with her skeleton once she gets in range.
