MICK is the zany, energetic type. He such a ham and talks fast when he's excited. He loves to be the center of attention so it's kind of ironic that he's shoved to the back of the room as the drummer. Micky never intently dabbled in music, except for maybe singing in the shower.  However, when The Beatles became popular in America in 1964, his peers were putting together bands.  He saw how ladies were attracted to guys in a band and fell into the drums. He loves the adrenaline rush that drumming gave him and the opportunity to arrange amazing beats. 

Besides being in a band, Micky's passion is the sea and sand. He thinks of himself as a true surfer and loves that way of life. You can often find him at the Prairees beach house, going for morning walks on the beach, taking a swim in the sunset hours, laying out in the summer sun or going surfing. He also loves making bonfires on the beach and inviting friends for beach parties. He was the one who sought out the Prairees current beach house and obtained a good deal on it by befriending the previous owner who was also a surfer.  Micky's a very social fellow that loves being surrounded by good anthros who love the same things that he does. Even though Davy will go swimming with him, no other  member of the band will attempt surfing. He hopes to one day meet a girl who loves nature and the thrill of being alive as much as he does.

As a band member, Micky plays drums primarily, but also knows how to play lead guitar if Mike needs to switch instruments. Mick has a crazy obsession with his vintage Moog synthesizer in the garage, it's his latest toy. It mostly makes flying saucer noises like squeaks, hisses, beeps and bloops, but it can do more than this. The Prairees instruments supports the sounds the Moog creates which makes the overall feel of the song truly unique. 

Micky often steps in as bandmate Peter's keeper, like a big brother would guide his little brother. They have known each other longer than any other member of The Prairees. Mike does not have the same amount of experience in dealing with Peter's chaotic mistakes as Micky does.  Since Micky is second-in-command in the leadership of the group, he does not have as much responsibility as Mike, and thus he's able to handle Peter's day to day crises.  He understands that sometimes Peter needs to be guided because he does not understand something, and not that he's unwilling to learn.

Relationships: Micky is very unlucky in love. Most   of his songs concern searching for love or having troubled  relationships  where he gets used and left behind. Micky is shy in  nature, but when  around girls, he becomes nervous to the point where he  could pass for  outgoing and asks the girl a lot of questions or talks  to fill in  awkward silences. After a few failed dates from the personal  ads, Mike  told him to "Dial it back a bit, let her speak for awhile.  If she says  nothing, that's okay."

Micky has a HUGE crush on beautiful Samara Wilde,  who shares all of his hobbies. They would talk for hours about shared  hobbies if only Micky could speak intelligible words when in her  presence. Whenever she's around, he becomes quiet and very eager to  please her, fetching things or helping her clean up. If he does manage  to say something, it's dumb and any attempt to fix what was said only  makes things worse until his face turns red with embarrassment. Sam  thinks he's puppy-cute and funny, she laughs when he says dumb things.  She has him friend-zoned because she doesn't really know much about him,  just that he's in a band and that his beach house is at the opposite  end of the beach from her shop. 

It became so hopeless that Micky  began to plead with Mike to join him for a visit to Sam's Beach and Surf  Shop. "C'mon man... c'mon, you've gotta help me! I've been obsessed  with Sam ever since she moved in 2 months ago. But I just can't talk to  her. I open my mouth and butterflies comes out. I can't talk.. but you can, Mike! You've gotta help me talk to her, I'm begging you! I practically drown in butterflies whenever I go over there. I've looked dumb around her so  many times, she must think I'm crazy." Seeing his good buddy  floundering, he decided to help him. Together they'd venture to Sam's  shop, where Mike would pretend to look at things for sale, make light  conversation with Sam, and course-correct anything dumb that Micky  happened to say. After a month, Sam noticed how often Mike would come  into her shop to talk all the time to ask questions about herself or her  hobbies. One day, Sam assumed that Mike was too nice to try anything,  so she made the first move. She asked him to get something for her behind the counter on a high shelf. As he stood up on his toes to grab the extra bags from the top shelf, she moved in close to him and as he landed, their eyes locked. A lovestruck feeling ran through Mike all of a sudden as she moved in for a kiss. Before she was able to plant her lips on his, Mike looked beyond her face to see Micky withered in the corner, gaping as his crush attempted to ensnare his best friend. It was the swift reminder that Mike needed to make a hasty retreat. "Mmmm-Micky needs to go home now. I-I need to take him home. C'mon Mick!" Mike said as he grabbed Micky's shoulder and marched him out the door.
Walking down the coastline back to their house, Mike apologized, "I'm sorry, Mick. I don't know what came over me. I almost fell for that chick myself."
Micky replied, "Naah, it's my hangup. If only I could get over it." He kicked at the sand on the beach.
Mike paused, then said, "Man, you need to tell her! No more excuses. Our friendship can't be torn apart because you can't talk to a girl."

Mick sheepishly hung his head, "I know, Mike.. I know."

Random Gift-Giver: Micky likes to make gifts to show how much he likes someone, this could   be a sign of friendship towards someone he really admires in hopes of   keeping their friendship. It could also be given to a girl in hopes of a   relationship. He learned how to make "love beads" (necklace) from a   friend in California. He can also make crepe paper flowers, make   wire-sculpted objects, clay or stone objects or woodworking. He's very   creative and loves to make the ideal gift for someone. He once ran up  to  Peter and handed him a peace symbol button pin. “This is for you,”  he  said, and ran away. Peter was overwhelmed by the gift and rushed off  to  find Micky. Because he couldn’t put into words how deeply touched  he  was, Peter just spun him around and gave him a big hug. Micky   understood, and later went quietly into his room and closed the door.    Sometime later when he emerged, Micky’s eyes were red from crying tears   of happiness and had hidden himself away because he was embarrassed.
