13th Hunter Chairman Election
Itsuki visits Gon in the hospital. Killua asks her if her nen ability can do anything. Itsuki says no, much to Killua's dismay, but he isn't too surprised. It's currently unknown to who Itsuki voted for in the first few rounds, but she did vote for Leorio Paradinight in the next few succeding rounds.
She, along with many of Gon's other friends are with Gon at the hospital. She feels the amount of aura that was released when Alluka heals Gon. She joins Gon to meet Leorio at the auditorium.
Sometime after the end of the 13th Hunter Chairman Elections, Cluck scouts Itsuki to be a part of the Hunter Association's Botanical team, seeing great potential in her.
Succession Contest
Itsuki is first seen with Cluck as she doesn't want Itsuki to tag along with them to the Dark Continent, realizing how dangerous the mission is. Kurapika then comes to ask Itsuki on helping him contact Junwei for an offer to be a bodyguard about the Kakin Princes. After Junwei rejects, Kurapika decides to scout her instead, to which Itsuki agrees. Cluck asks Kurapika to keep her safe, and if she is no longer needed she must be sent back to where the Hunter's Association resides, which Kurapika agrees. She is eventually chosen by Fugetsu. When the Black Whale sets off, Itsuki also reports to Kurapika about the Nen beasts she's been seeing.
When she first arrives, she meets Fugetsu's bodyguards: Ryoji, Bachaem, and Yaxiu. Ryoji and Bachaem warn her about Yaxiu. Both of them say how he has a "unique personality" and knows telekenisis. As Ryoji and Bachaem leave, Yaxiu attacks Itsuki with a vase. Itsuki dodges out of the way and notices that he was using Nen. She confronts Yaxiu about it to his surprise. Yaxiu then tells her that both of them are the only ones who could properly protect the prince since both of them know Nen.
One day, one of the bodyguards from 2nd Prince Camilla decided that he would kill Fugetsu to earn her respect. But he realizes that the telekenectic user would be in his way so he decided to target Yaxiu first. Itsuki and Yaxiu find out the plan beforehand due to some talkative bodyguards, so both of them set up a plan.
Overall Abilities
- Enhanced Endurance and Stamina: Itsuki was usually the one collecting all the herbs needed for the family. Her stamina and endurance grew from her collecting the plants almost everyday.
- Light Poison Immunity: She developed a light poison immunity from coming into contact with poisonus plants many times.
- Knowledgeable on Plant Life: Itsuki has a vast knowledge about plantlife. She can identify the plant from sight, touch, or smell alone. Due to her immense knowledge, she managed to catch the eye of Cluck from the Hunter's Association.
- Arnis Training: Itsuki trained to use the baston, she and a few other of her friends from the area trained each other. She is able to easily immobilize opponents thanks to the technique.
- Swimming: Since some of the herbs and plants Itsuki had to collect were from bodies of water, Itsuki was taught how to swim. She can swim quite well and hold her breath underwater for long amounts of time. Although she can open her eyes underwater, she often uses prescription goggles since she cannot see anything otherwise.
- Hand-to-Hand Combat: Before the events of the series, she has a basic enough level of skill and understanding to defend herself. During her time with the Shu Family, it got significantly better.

- Baston: Itsuki weilds a baston. However, after developing her nen ability, she is seen using the baston less but the technique of Arnis Training is still evidently seen in her fighting style.
Nen
Itsuki is a transmuter and is able to alter her aura into properties of plants.Itsuki's Nen Type: Transmutation
By altering her aura, she is able to mimic the properties of medicinal plants. Her ability only works as medicine and the wound itself would need to heal on its own. People who have been healed by Itsuki say that their wounds healed significantly faster than if they bought expensive medicine.
Restore only works under these conditions:- She must have been exposed to the plant at least once before.
- She has to know the specific name of the plant
- She has to know what the effects of the plant are
Harm works very similar to Restore, including the conditions to how it activates. Itsuki is able to mimic the poisonus or self defense properties of the plants and is able to use it for combat. Also similar to Restore, her ability amplifies the effects and makes it far worse than if the opponent were to just come into contact with the plant.
Itsuki uses her aura to mimic a vine or a stick and uses it to attack the opponent. She often uses it in combination with Harm to maximize the damage.
She uses Overgrowth as vines or as a stick interchangably, but Overgrowth cannot be vines and a stick at the same time. If Itsuki decides to swap it at any time, the other one would vanish first.

Yaxiu Fang
She and Yaxiu got really close during the Succession War since both of them are assigned to the same prince. Yaxiu would often teach her a few techniques that helped him master Nen. He often talk to Itsuki about how he earns money by circulating the prized item. He once tells her how he circulated a single pair of Scarlet Eyes for quite a while.
Jianlong Shu
He is her Nen teacher, so she respects him greatly. Sometimes, she is a bit confused to why he won't teach his own son about Nen but is 100% willing to teach her.

Hanzo
Hanzo does recognize her since he bought medicine from her parent's shop due to it being in Jappon. He underestimated her at first when he saw her arrive in the Hunter's Exam site, but he was proven wrong when she reached the final phase. At first, he felt like his initial feeling right when he saw Itsuki get easily defeated by Junwei, thinking she got through the Hunter's Exam through sheer luck. But he completly understood when Itsuki refused to fight Hisoka. They have never properly interacted until the Succession Contest Arc when Itsuki was also hired by Kurapika.
