Scarlet

Comic spoilers ahead!

Scarlet, called Scar by those closed to her (nobody knows why, she doesn't have any scars), is one of Henry's oldest friends, she was the daughter of one of the palace guards and would commonly be allowed to roam near the places Aaron and Henry hung out. She tagged along with them on some of their adventures and created an excellent distraction for them when they needed it. Henry and Aaron pushed her away once they started working for Vi because they realized how dangerous it was for anyone to be close to them. During this time her sister, Anastasia, mysteriously vanished and she put as much effort into finding her as she could while taking on her current occupation of one of the higher-ranked guards around the palace (not very common for a woman. Despite it being allowed for them to join the army, female soldiers were still fairly rare during Vi's rule). She was appointed as Vi's new Second after Aaron's death and Henry's disappearance. Vi told her he knew where her sister was and used withholding the information as a way to keep her under his control. She was briefly king after Vi's death while Henry was recovering, and reconnected with him once he was well enough. After the war was over she took a break from her work to search for Anastasia.
