Lisa is the youngest and unplanned daughter of upperclass Mexican socialities Antonio and Eiza Marlow and has been ignored in favor of her older sister, Melissa, since the day she was born. Despite not wanting a second child, her parents chose not to get an abortion for fear that their community would find out, negatively impacting their reputation, and instead decided to have and neglect Lisa.
Growing up, her only friend and source of love was her grandmother, Emilia, until she tragically died when Lisa was 7, leaving her completely alone. When she was 18, she gladly left home and ultimately fell in with a dangerous gang. She was a member for several years before finally fleeing to escape the abuse and winding up in Lakewood City.

- She has a faint surgical scar near her left ribs from when she was stabbed in her early twenties.
- Her withdrawn nature and difficulty expressing emotion/affection are both a direct result of her parents' emotional and mental neglect growing up.
