Bedisa-Salma (Most often just referred to as "Fate") is one of Gwendllyn's earlier angels and one of her most unique.
Fate is an angel with diverse and conflicting legends. She has several names, and her appearance is constantly shifting. She is often cloaked in fog and difficult to glimpse. Sometimes she takes more humanoid/mortal looking forms, but these also continue to shift and are difficult to focus on. Any encounters with Fate are extremely surreal, and when she allows you to see her she will grant you a "boon" to change you fate, in exchange for a "curse". This is at least the general cultural legend of her.
In reality when Bedisa-Salma appears to a mortal she is able to perceive their ultimate potential and most pleasant fate, along with their many possible paths. Her goal is to help the individual she appears to to get where they need to be in their life to become who they can be. She plays very heavily with a person's own perceptions, and often her boons/curses do not actually hold binding power, but the mortal's belief that they do influences them down the road they need to go. At leas that's the general idea, it's a very different story from mortal to mortal. And it's possible to encounter her and leave without a boon or a curse.
