At some point, Yuliore, Goddess of Muses, decided she needed to get more creative in these Modern Times to retain and/or gain more followers so she decided to send out some angels to stir inspiration. Harp and Lyre were two of these and became a hit musical duo, which Harp in particular was more than thrilled about because she hadn't been outside the heavens much at all at that point and the attention and mortal conveniences were all new to her.

This was all peachy for a while, but in order to reach as many people as possible, their music had to be asssss generic/palpable/whatever as it could be, which sure did not mesh with Lyre's Grand Creative Visions. Eventually, he had enough and there was a Big Confrontation that ended with Lyre falling and declaring that he would create his own group in the image of his aforementioned Grand Creative Visions and they would become even more renowned without resorting to that "mindless, vapid drivel" Harp was adamant about continuing to perform and, uhhhh, they split to say the least.

Lyre has since thrown himself into a multitude of creative endeavors to make his visions a reality, his two most precious being his One Man Band that I have not made a name for yet and his beloved traveling acting troupe that performs both the classics and plays of his own creation. He hasn't been particularly bothered about falling since he is (for some reason) convinced Yuliore will redeem him once she realizes how correct & amazing he is. Eat it, Harp.
