Sweet is very fast at making outfits and costumes, and can put out entire collections within minutes. She uses her scissors with a very quick pace, but they are heavy. She can also blow bubbles just from her mouth if she wanted to.
Purpose
Sweet was a tailor/seamstress for high class gems. Outfits and costumes for events and balls were requested and tailors were in high demand. After Pink Diamond’s “shattering”, balls and social events had completely stopped and Sweet was no longer needed. She was then given to a high class gem as a personal tailor.
About
Sweetheart Bubble Glass was fairly respected amongst higher class gems. Her designs were beautiful and unique and people would always try to get their hands on her outfits. She wasn’t the only seamstress around, but she was one of the best. She was also impressive to the Diamond’s who took note of her work and made sure she was available for balls and social events. Fast forward to Pink’s “shattering”… it was almost like she didn’t exist, no one cared about her and her designs anymore. Era 2 was very rough for everyone, and Sweet got the short end of the stick. She was given to a high class Sapphirine who cared not for her nor her designs, but to show her off and have her around like a pet. Sweet lived the rest of her life as a Pearl reject with no real use for her skills. Instead her owner would force her to make her cute designs even when she didn’t want to (all of which were very similar to Sweet’s own outfit). During this time, she still made a bunch of other costumes she liked, after all it was her purpose and hobby. Most of those designs however, were stolen by her owner and given away to other high class gems. Sweet was just tired. Then, Era 3. Sweet’s big break. Everything was looking good for the future of gem-kind and Sweet saw this as her opportunity to get out. She put her foot down and embarrassed her owner in front of her friends, leaving on a warp to Little Homeworld. It was finally time for her to make and share her designs once again, and this time on Earth!

One of Sweet’s first big breaks was learning of Rose’s modeling career. She instantly knew she had to be apart of the team and make designs for her to wear.
Cat’s Eye Aquamarine [ business partner | friend ]
Sweet and Cat’s Eye had their differences at first, but a cute partnership would form overtime as Sweet showed Cat’s Eye how to be more sociable and friendly.
Peach Sapphirine [ enemy | owner (formerly) ]
During Era 2, Sweet was bound to Peach Sapphirine as her personal tailor and servant. She hated every second of it, only because of Peach’s sour and spoiled attitude. Once Era 3 rolled in she left in a heartbeat.
