It was like opening your eyes for the first time, feeling weightless. Every single thought racing through your head, is that what that noise is? It's strange. Why is it so strange? This is how it's meant to be. Why do I know this?

It was strange being the first one born. Jiri was filled with so many thoughts and feels, it was overwhelming. Who was he? What was he? It was so much. There was nothing but darkness, a void beyond his comprehension.

Someone called to him and in that instant, a burst of light flashed from his heart. The Universe was born.

It had been eons since his birth. Jiri's siblings were formed, all of them scattered to places in the universe to tend to what they see fit. All agreeing to help any Estranged they come across.

Jiri set off on observe planets, see the best place for new born Estranged to find homes in. He would watch for decades before moving on, learning as many details as he could. He had been to several, finding their condintions unfavorable. It was tough. Granted, maybe he shouldn't be so picky.

He then found a planet, pouring out love for their inhabitants. Wanting to watch all their children grow. This was Earth.

Jiri sat and spoke with the loving planet, Earth and their orbit, Lunas. They were so excited to tell Jiri all about the inhabitants, the journeys they took, their growth, what their future would look like. It was heart warming. This would be the home.

Jiri would watch the planet, seeing human's evolve, the hardships they overcame. Slowling introducing Estranged onto the planet. Jiri would comfort the Earth when Lunas passed, making sure his friend wasn't alone when they needed. Some years, Jiri would come down and live among the people. Never interfering with major events, simply trying to live a normal life. Be like everyone. Be happy.

Eventually, it was time. Jiri had found a massive amount of Estranged, being attacked by an unrelenting race. They were dying. He had to finally let Earth home more. So he did.

For years the story of what happened has been passed down as just myth.

A rare astronomical event occurred and a creature was able to tear into this reality and let their people in to escape a looming terrifying threat. This race was incredibly varied and unique, taking many forms and being able to use magic.

But calling it a myth would be far from the truth.

In the deep past, a man traveled the sea and land to make his way here, simply set out on a journey to follow the ‘yellow star’, an astronomical phenomenon he felt only he could see, with his trusted companions. When he arrived at this lake, he saw people dancing on the lake, laughing. Having succumbed to his exhaustion, he walked into the lake, thinking he could join them. The yellow star descended from the heavens to save him, with it the glass began to rise and form. The man was hoisted out of the water, given to the community to be cared for. It took him a week to wake again but when he did, he was surrounded by a tribe and his own friends. The star sat at the foot of the bed and welcomed him to the lake. Glass heart has always been a home to spirits and humans alike, many many of the residents have always had spiritual ancestry and the gift of The Heart. The man who fell in love with the yellow star became connected with the land, his life being dependent on the lake.
