About
Jack is one of the main party members in The Story. Before the events of The Story, he worked for an unknown publishing company in The Capital. He was also renting an apartment with Shota. After the Slime Boom, he gets asked by Shota to leave The Capital on a journey.
Jack is a pacifist, and actively avoids fighting monsters but does not discourage those around him to fight. Despite this, he is shown to be quite knowlegeable about different monster species. He somehow has the ability to hear what monsters are thinking at specific times, but the reason for this is unknown.

Backstory
Jack was from Melonwater Village before moving to The Capital after graduating from Opulentos High, along with Shota. He was enrolled in the S Class stream at Opulentos, which was specifically designed to groom highly talented individuals to become Elite Bounty Hunters. During this time, he was living with an old lady whom he refers to as his grandmother, who later succumbed to the Dandelion Effect.
The Creator
During the first chapter, Jack could hear the thoughts of "Master Slimey", right before its death. In later parts of The Story, he will experience this over and over again with various monsters, animals and people at their lowest point. too many spoilers spoil the broth... i aint writing this

What I like "There's so much to like about Lottie. She's a ray of sunshine, and I sometimes think that makes her quite the opposite of me. You know what they say, opposites attract. Hehe."
