About
Shota is one of the main party members in The Story. He is a student at The Capital's largest monster hunting academy - The Collegium. He is the main vocalist and guitarist in the band BADS, along with Dehua, Brian and Ash. Before the events of The Story, he did part time music gigs along with his bandmates, and rented an apartment in The Capital with Jack. Shota made his final decision to pursue monster hunting after the Slime Boom destroyed his living space.
Shota has a hot temperament and tends to make rash decisions. His strong sense of justice often causes those around him to get stuck in difficult situations. Despite that, he is rather popular among students from The Collegium because of his good looks and talent for music. Tricky is one of his fans. However, he is notably poor at hunting monsters, due to his lack of knowledge, and relies on others for strategy.

Backstory
Shota was raised in The Capital and comes from a wealthy family, which resulted him in being enrolled in prestigious schools, one of them being Opulentos High, his former high school. Shota met Jack in the same school by chance when both of them happened to be skipping classes. Unlike Jack, Shota was enrolled in the normal stream, where students focused on learning skills that were more applicable to The Capital, or "city jobs", and thus did not pick up many monster hunting techniques, something that he feels regretful about.

Well, I am a musician, so I'm pretty good at playing the guitar. I don't know if you know this, but the strings I'm using on this baby are pretty easy to break if you ain't careful, so yeah. I'm awesome.
