Brax cares deeply for Finn - he shows a kindness and understanding to the Octotrooper that few understand. He would easily go hungry to ensure his best friend eats first.

Youth

Brax Morado was born to proud Octarian parents deep in the underground of Octo Valley. He was a very bright child with the very odd habit of doing the bare-minimal to get past his classes and studies. His parents blamed it on laziness, though even from a young age Brax understood there were certain rules. He was smart enough to know that his best-friend, Finn, was a different Octarian than himself. While he aged and grew into a more humanoid form, his friend...well, stayed the same generally. Brax understood that Finn would always be considered low-ranking, no matter how well he did at anything, and Brax decided early on that he would stay at his best-friend's side. They wanted to serve the Octarian army together and he would do anything (or nothing if needed) to make that happen.

Daily Life

Brax graduated middle of his class and stepped into the army with a barely passing score - but it worked. It wasn't long until he was assigned to the say platoon as Finn and the two partnered up for assignments frequently. They share a dismal little apartment (if you could call it that) and eat the lowest quality foods available due to their rank. Brax is happy though and no one expects a thing from him. He guards, he patrols, and he serves the Octarian cause all with Finn at his side. It's difficult to find the two not connected at the hip and neither would have it any other way.

Current Life

If anyone wants to find Brax, he's mostly likely assigned to the lowest security areas of Octo Valley, standing prepared to fight with his Octoshot at his hip. It's odd to spot an Octotrooper standing beside an Octoling soldier and the two on occasion will let their guard down to chat or joke around, especially later in the day towards the end of their shifts.

• Brax doesn't hate Inklings, but he's never seen one either.
• Music from the surface occasionally slips down into the barracks - Brax really enjoys C-Side's music.
• He's perfected stumbling and falling in a way that looks great, but doesn't hurt him.
