Fifer Gray's Links
Fifer sees Albion as a vague nuisance, a useful yes-man, and, if she's being honest with herself, a steadfast friend. They've braved their way through quite a number of escapades since meeting each other, and she values his readiness and tech abilities.
Albion has had an enduring and unrequited crush on Fifer for years now, but most of the time he is content simply being an aid and friend to her. He is intimidated by her much like an underling would be intimidated by their leader.
Fifer sees Faine more as a tool than she sees even Albion and expects constant respect and availability from him. She engages him mostly when necessary and scarcely talks to Faine for anything other than business.
Although Faine works under Fifer as a consultant, he is wholly unaffected by her leadership position and shows of power. Instead of being scared by her aggression, he rather finds it tiring; and maybe a bit childish. Faine sees Fifer only as a friend in part, and his loyalty to her cause would most likely be jeopardized if not for the fact that Faine feels obligated to help her.
As the mentor and partial parent figure of a much younger Raven, Fifer still feels obligated to look out for his well being. Fifer, while not often openly concerned with his whereabouts and safety, often thinks about where Raven is and what he is doing, but never interferes with his life seeing as he is now an adult and can take care of himself.
At just the name of Fifer Gray, Raven bristles. He sees her as a regret and a disgrace. If asked, he won't hesitate to disclose just how severe his loathing for her is, though his disclosure may not be entirely truthful. Beneath the layers of a hateful facade, Raven safekeeps the memory of betraying Fifer, tirelessly harboring the guild of his misdeeds in his heart. No matter how he tries to convince himself to hate her, Raven will always consider Fifer a mentor, a role model, and a friend.
Although Fifer and Max's first interaction was wholly accidental, the commonality of concern for Raven has united them in a friendly acquaintanceship. While Fifer does not in any way feel responsible for Max and his safety, she recognizes him as an amateur and would have no problem lending him help should he ask for it. Fifer tends to find Max refreshing and amusing and consideres him a good source of information on Raven. She doesn't know Max's real name and doesn't intend to learn it.
Max first met Fifer when he answered a phone call he was never meant to take, and their common concern for Raven is what has kept them in touch since then. Despite lying about his entire Identity to Fifer, Max feels he can trust her when it comes to any incidents that are less than legal. He goes by the name Milly with her and feels surprisingly comfortable with the false name
