The One That Walks Amongst the Dead

The Harris Family were just a family of hares that provided their services through selling whatever items they crafted. They weren't neccessary well-known, but many often enjoy the quality of their items. One day, this family would stumble upon a young horse Bestia that was left on their doorstep. Instead of bringing them to a orphanage, they decided to raise them as their own. This was the family that Amelia was raised under. Amelia wasn't bothered by the fact she was taller and much different species compared to her adopted family. In the end, family was still family. Her family was there to make her feel loved and accepted. Hell, they were very accepting of the fact she would later come out as trans and quick to adapt to her new identity. Life was relatively nice for the young woman, and it would be some decades before she would seperate herself from her family and become a wandering merchant herself, selling whatever things she crafted with the gems she found.
Through her travels, she would meet a woman named Nia. She was the best thing she ever met in her life. She always enjoyed rambling about what customer she encountered and listening to Nia's own rambling about work. It is though Nia that Amelia learned what it meant to be a horse Bestia. The two would grow closer before eventually they would fall in love. Eventually, she would retire her job as a merchant to join Nia on ruling the land of Xiuhes. Their time together was relatively peaceful even when things such as the potential war between Azeawane and Azeth briefly brewing due to the death of Azeawane's rulers. The two were able to keep each other calm as a means to get though life. They would eventually have a child (Shanice) and shower her with love.
It would be due to Shanice that the things would become a tad..messy. A incident would occur where Shanice's life would be endangered by monsters. Just as she was about to knock off, Amelia managed to push her out of the way and got knocked off herself. To the people of Xiuhes, it was assumed she was dead as no one could find her body. However, she actually lived thanks to the One the Moon Follows (taking the disguise of Oberon). However, her wounds were proven to be quite fatal with her losing a arm and leg. Due to that reasoning, Oberon would spend a long time treating her until she's back on her wife. After many years of recovery, Amelia is now back with the goal of finally reuniting with her family.
