He was first shown to be awake rather late as he visited Romano in the library. It was shown that his day was disturbed by Zuro after a conversation during dinner. However, he waves this off and comforts Romano over his own feelings. Later, he's seen laughing with Tsuyobi which calms down Romano from the stress he was gathering.
Training Arc
During the first arrival of Akira, he is shown to have a dislike towards Akira because of how he treated Romano. Initially, he believed Akira had only do several things just to embarrass Romano in front of other people, and he even disliked Akira a lot to the point that he quickly assumed Akira forced Romano to overwork himself when Romano actually agreed to it. When Romano and Akira were seen interacting in a more positive light, Al finally accepts this and slowly warms up to Akira, even flustering when Akir brings up he really does care about the people around him. Before Akira left, it was shown Al arrived late to the location together with Zuro. While they all said their farewell, Al prepared a selfie stick so he can have a picture with everyone there.
First Mission Arc
Al was first seen inside the room, getting Romano's attention over something he found. It was revealed to be a torture video which made both him and Romano shocked. After the video ended, it ends with a high pitched sound that makes both of them cover their ears. Once the sound ended, they decided to bring the problem up to their boss, Rika. Rika listens to their story and has a short talk with them which ends up with Romano agreeing to the mission. Before they leave the room of Rika completely, Tsuyobi is shown and Romano rejects Tsuyobi from coming, and Al is seen sweating, showing he was unsure on what to do in the situation.
When they go inside the airplane, it was seen that Al was the pilot of the ship, and he and Romano were talking about the plans to Crew Seo. When he was done, the members of Crew Sei notice someone is on the back of the plane, but it was later revealed to be Tsuyobi. Tsuyobi and Romano have an arguement but it soon ended after they had nothing else to say and when Tana interrupted. After this situation, Al brings up about making a few changes to the plan to make sure Tsuyobi is a part of it.
After they arrive in the location, Al explains the mission once again as he watches over each member of Crew Sei. Everything was going smoothly until he was disconnected with everyone else, only to reveal their system was hacked by Gianna. Once he ragains their connection, he checks up on everyone and reports what was going on everyone's side which makes Cre Sei reatreat because they prioritized each other's lives over the mission. When Romano returns, he ends up breaking down and Al comforts him. When the initial drama calmed down, he was shown to be listening in Crew Quattro's conversation, and he was confused over what they were talking about. Returning to the Protezioni house after it, Al is shown to still be rather chill, still having the ability to laugh and socialize even after what happened..
