"The past is better left forgotten"

Miles is a grumpy, emotionally broken detective. Who wants nothing more then to do his job, then drink to forget that job.

How Mile's life became so complicated in just one week, he'll never understand. Though with all the shit thats happened, he wouldn't change it. Meeting his friends was a horrible experience. He meet Shadow by almost hitting him with his car, and meet Toxic when he tried to kill him. While it was horrible, he's glad he meet them.

Past

Miles was sadly the result of a teen pregnancy. His mothers parents refused to let her put him up for adoption, and so kept him as the family secret. once he and his mother moved out, his grandparents paid for him to be home schooled. As he grew, Miles only wanted two things, to have friends and get his mothers love. Growing up Miles loved mystery books, he hated secrets since it seemed to be the only thing his family was good at.

Later Life

Getting a simple job, Miles ended up buying a lot of stuff for the their house himself, his mother seemed to come home later and later. She would always say it was simply her work. Though after awhile Miles starts getting annoyed and decieds to look into it. On a night where she didn't come home, Miles head out to find her. Heading to her work, he found it closed, no sign of life. He knew his mother never drank so a club or a bar where out of the question. Running out of ideas he decied to head home. On his walk home, he past a restaurant that was bright and filled with life inside. Looking in Miles heart broke as he saw his mother sitting near the back with a man and a small chid. Tears formed in his eyes at the smile that was on her face, as she happily talked and played with the young child.

Running home Miles paked up his things ready to leave. He had been accepted into the police academy, which was once something he was supper exited to tell his mother about. Placing his packed bags near the front door, he grabbed any photos he could find of them together and burned them, along with anything she owned in the house, he walked back inside grabbde his bags and began his walk to the police academy, hoping they would let him move into the berrics a few weeks early.

Present

With a new last name and a new city, Miles worked himself up to being a well known Private Detective. On a way home from work one night he almost hits Shadow, taking him to his safe house, Shadow tells him all about what he's been through. Heading out to the LakeMore precinct Miles begins to ask questions that cause enough trouble that someone hires a hitman on him. Lucky for him the hitman also wants to know about what he's looking into, so teams up with him. Now with his two new friends Shadow and Toxix, the three work together to solve his mystery.
