Rose

Rose is a very happy person, though he has consent fears of being dragged back to the lab. He won't mind telling people how much he loves them, including Gulson who hates it. While he does loving being apart of things, Rose is more then happy to simply sit back and watch. Rose does get sad from time to time thinking about his past, and who his family was.

Rose doesn't remember anything before waking up in The Future Now Laboratories. He isn't sure how long he was really in there, time seemed to almost stand still in the facility. The people who worked there simply called the test subjects by the numbers on their uniforms.

Originally Rose was a test subject for a healing serum, the scientets tested this by injecting him with the serum then pouring acid on his right eye. The serum did not work, leaving his right eye blind and the skin around it scarred. After that failure the scientist moved onto a new serum. They never talked about this serum infront of him, in fact he hardly saw them at all anymore. They would simply bring him into a lab, strap him down, inject him in his arms, then leave. After a few hours they would come back and take him back to his cell.

Rose noticed after a few weeks of this new serum he felt less hungry, less tired. He actually felt amazing, better then he's felt in a long time. The only thing that was off was his arms, where the scientets had been injecting him (just below the elbow) His vains had started turning black and sticking out, and his hands became fully black with his finger nails turning sharp every time they grew out (which is what started him bitting his nails), overall It didn't hurt so he paid it no mind. The last time he saw the scientets was the first time they talked infront of him in a long time. They asked him questions, and seemed mostly pleased, but annoyed the the new serum hadn't fixed his eye. Rose was feeling good, the scientets showed no signs of wanting to inject him with any more painful serums. No, instead one quickly and abruptly picked up a scaple and stabbed him through the hand. The other scientets seemed shocked at first but quickly let it go. Roses pain fulled cries filled the cold room as the scientets pulled out their scaple. The others watched intensely, and after two hours Roses hand was completely healed with no scar. The scientets where thrilled, but annoyed at how long it took. With that they sent Rose back to his cell.

After some time Rose made friends with the subject in the cell next to him. She told him her name was Vanessa and she had been trying to escape since she had woken up in the facility. When Rose talked about the new serum and his hands, Vaness told him she was getting something simular, but it was being injected into her back, so she had no idea if it was turning black as well. One night something happened and the facility went into a shut down mode, all the cells opened. Every subject that could walk on their own bolted, pushing, killing or knocking out any scientets they saw. Then the guards came out, they shot at anything in a medical gown. A small group of Rose, Vanessa and a few others the two had never meet, made it outside.

As eveyone ran Rose got separated, he didn't know how, but now he was on his own. A shot came out of no where passing right through his left shoulder, he let out a pained cry and picked up his pace. The pain shot through his whole body, making him not notice the car coming right for him. The car slammed on the breaks, bearly missing him. A man he had never seen before got out of the car, yelling at him about running around in the forest at night, but stopped after taking in how Rose looked. Rose hardly had to the convince the man to help him as the guards came closer. It did take a bit more to convince the man not to take him to a hospital though.

The man ended up taking him to a safe house, and helped with the bullet wound. The man told Rose his name is Gulson and that he is a private detective. Rose told Gulson everything and the man seemed horrified. He asked if Rose could find the facility again, but Rose had been running for so long in the dark he doubted he could even find the road that brought them to the safe house. Once his wound had healed he had his first shower in who knows how long, and it was the best feeling ever. Gulson didn't have many spair clothes in the safe house excpt an old suit that was to big for him, luckly it fit Rose perfectly. Gulson seemed to hate the idea of calling him a number, but with no memory of a name, Rose wasn't sure what name he should. Gulson gave him the idea of Rose, as the scar on his face kind of looked like a rose.
