blossom chalcedony is the owner and operator of the blossom tavern. it was built in what her ma and pop call the 'hay day' of the rose court- though really, it's still haying about. sure the value of coins have gone down (academics argue that it's 'unethical' for their currency to resemble their currency, like get over it) but they've been replaced with notes, so big woop. she's over the 'gentile sensibilities' of roses. the working gems want to party and not have to trade an arm and a leg for a glass of champagne with a pretty girl. she turned a once wholesome coffeehouse into a den of debauchery, smirking at the thought of her parents rolling in their graves. it's made more money than they've ever even dreamed of, so...
