fire opal is a relatively unknown songstress in the rose court. she sits in the blossom tavern every night and fills the night with her song, without receiving as little as a glance. that's not to say her singing is bad- far from it- but the expectation of the court of art and music is far more vivacious and bold than what she offers. her voice is the guiding waves on a dinghy rather than the crashing storm against a frigate; singing to heal the aged and weary rather than inspire the young and entitled. she has her few friends, but what makes her happiest is seeing her notes bring a smile to the older gems as they recall past loves and joys. fire opal is selfless but meek and comes off like she has very little personality other than to be subservient, even though the need she caters to is niche.
