Cayl is one of the sins with the least of a social presence - People rarely see him, since he doesn't bother leaving his house more than he has to. To be quite frank, most people prefer it that way. The sin of sloth has a reputation of being uite tired and lazy and so his way of fixing issues tends to stop or halt them as fast as possible, even if that means shooting a few people in the face with his umbrella-gun. He's actually quite triggerhappy when he is working and is known to be quite unpleasant to run into.
Cayl tends to procrastinate his work to stay at home longer, meaning that he monstly comes out when it is really needed - that also menas he has absolutely no qualms in aggresively shooting the world's issues until there's plenty of sloth. That way he can rest longer before getting back into action again.

Personality
Cayl is mosty a tired and rather apathetic old man who doesn't really like interacting with the world. He doesn't particularly like socializing and so his social skills are also a bit lacking. At least they're not very flexible to the moving times and the new cultures around him. By old traditional King Devil standard, he's pretty alright, albeit a bit rude to times.
Cayl kind of dislikes most people, not so much on a personality level, but more living, breathing creatures who talk and move and disturb. He's the most comfortable when sleeping or somehow else dissociated or disconnected from the world around him. The only place he really enjoys roaming longterm in is his and Emma's remote home that they inherented from Emma's dad. She has since renovated and changed it a lot cutomized to fit their taste, as she is the very decorative type. Cayl doesn't inherently care about the changes, but he does think seeing all of Emma's choices around him is rather comforting and relaxing. In a way, it feels sylbolic of how much she for some reason takes care of him.

Trivia
- Cayl always has his jacket on when he is outside the house - his wife made it for him so that he'd get out of bed, now that he basically has an entire bed with him. It is not uncommon that he'll stop somewhere and lean against a nearby surfance for a couple of minutes to rest, if his work takes more than an hour.
- Cayl's hair is wild and stupid. He has never managed to get it under control and jsut sort of gave up at one point - Emma seems much more skiled in handling it though, so she usually does his hair whenever it gets too messy. He has told her she doesn't have to, but she actually insists that she likes taking care of him.
- Though he seems so sleepy he could fall asleep anywhere, he has been so spoiled by his and Emma's luxurious bedroom to the point he has become really picky and can't rest well in too foreign environments. It's in part why he always wears the jacket she made for him, since it reminds him of their bed chambers.
Significant Relationships
Emmy
Emma and Cayl have close and weirldly well-functioning symbiotic relationship between them. They hate the world together and all its living creatures. Though that said, Emma seems to find more entertainment and reason to stay awake than Cayl does. He jsut wakes up to do his job and to be with his wife. She's completely okay with him sleeping a lot of his time on this Satan-forsaken earth away, which he appreciates. He understands that she likes taking care of him, doing his hair, dressing him up and tucking him him to sleep. Cayl is pretty sure she kind of treats him like her dolls, just a really large, breathing doll. He doesn't mind, as he knows she takes good care of them and also lets him get a say in the matter. A lot of the time he just doesn't have an opinion.
Lucifer
Neither him nor Emma had much of a role in Lucifer's up-bringing. Lucifer just kind of grew up under their neglectful and uninterested supervision. Cayl has a decent relationship with - it's less prickly than the one between Lucifer and Emma. They both agree that their partners are super important to them and that if the other messes with thm, they will probably get into a fight.
Charles
Charles and Cayl got on well while he was around. Charles is probably one of the only person Cayl can tolerate being around for longer amounts of time, mainly because thye grew up together and Charles is willing to not talk too much around him and instead he has just adapted and understands Cayl's silent gestures. They don't have the strongest of brotherly relationship, but thyeknow how to get along and to keep the wifes away from each other when Verica and Charles were still alive.
Verica
She's alright. Emma and her provoked each other a lot when they were still around, so he tended to just try avoid her. Now that she's dead and in Death's realm, it's not so hard.
Drue
He helped him once when he was about to collapse. so. There's that. He's quiet, which Cayl likes, but he doesn't inherently understand what Cayl means, which means Cayl has to concentrate more about communicating. Which he doesn't like. He's a bit of a stain on the family tree, but he's not as upset as Emma.
