Burningpaw is an apprentice of SkyClan. He is the son of Sandblaze and Goldenmoon, and brother of Cinnamonpaw and Yellowpaw.
Burningpaw is a golden tom with reddish ginger patches, yellow eyes.

Burningkit is born in SkyClan to Goldenmoon and Sandblaze alongside his siblings, Cinnamonkit and Yellowkit.
Burningkit is curious about the gathering and secretly follows his Clanmates there. After Rosemary's Army attacks and sets fire to the clearing, Burningkit is terrified and trapped in the flames, shrieking for help. Sandblaze is shocked and rushes over, angrily asking what he's doing here. He grabs Burningkit by the scruff, but there's no escape. Sandblaze spots Foxy and throws Burningkit to him, and the flames proceed to kill the deputy. Burningkit shrieks for his father and cries in grief against Ryeheart, blaming himself for Sandblaze's death. (Winds of Darkness, chapter 28)
After the battle against Rosemary, in the RiverClan camp, Ryeheart inspects Burningkit, who is unharmed but shaken by the death of Sandblaze. Goldenmoon is with him, sobbing and worried. (Winds of Darkness, chapter 29)
