Dusk

 Species (based on): Black Witch Moth and Tropical Swallowtail Moth, Ascalapha odorata and Lyssa zampa

 Size: 6.4 in., 16.3 cm.

Dusk is a young bat rider often ostracized by his peers because he's a runt (he is three inches smaller than he should be). To make matters worse for him, his grandfather was infamous for deserting during a battle with Blackwing's forces and some of the adults around him still hold a grudge.

During his story, he accidentally leads Blackwing to his flock's new nesting place while he and his friends search for a secret hideout. When he discovers his mistake, he and his bat, Dawn, set out to fight the nefarious butterfly with the other riders.
