About
Agent 3 grew up in Kraken Port, the one of the many children of a pretty big family. Their father died not long after the youngest was born, and their mother struggled to keep up with so many kids. When they managed to fight magazines away from their siblings, they would read about Inkopolis and its many lifestyles and fresh clothing that wasn’t handed down.

Their carefree and somewhat reckless attitude resulted in the unrealistic idea that they could go to Inkopolis on their own at their young age. They got into an argument with their mother about it, and it quickly escalated physically so they decided to take what they could and leave. They spent a long time traversing different modes of transportation until they finally made it all the way to Inkopolis where their dreams could begin.

Or not, as they had no cash and limited belongings. After being turned away from everything, and following an old guy down a manhole to complete dangerous missions with a strange Splatoon in the name of peace. They quickly sobered up. They found a new family in their other agents, and have gone from a reckless child to a stoic and competent agent. Even eventually becoming the Captain.

First impressions of Three are that they are cold, calculating and deadly. Which they are. But getting to know them shows that they like to express their feelings in other ways, such as small gestures, half-smiles and approving nods. They carefully select who they express themself to, which is usually only those in the NSS. They are mute and fluent in ISL (Inklish Sign Language).

They are very close with Craig, Marie and Callie Cuttlefish, they see them as their found family. Callie and Marie often act as their mouthpiece, as they seem to be able to read each other’s minds (not literally). Their conversations are full of affectionate teasing and mission discussions. The three are the only ones who know Three’s real name, and how much they detest it.

Three is also close with their fellow agents. Outwardly it appears they are cold toward Agent 4, but in reality the two are close, it's just their dynamic and it works for them. Agent 4 likes to tease them and talk their ear off, and Three is happy to just listen along and poke fun back. Agent 8 on the other hand, they fell for hard when they met her. It took the two a lot of discussion after their deadly battle, and a lot of dancing around the subject (much to the pain of the rest of the NSS) before the two got together. They felt strange about there being a new Agent 3, maybe even a tiny bit jealous of their old title being taken, but they’ve grown fond of the younger agent and like to help them with training when they ask. Little Buddy on the other hand… they’ll let him sit on their hat, but they’ll pretend he isn’t there (affectionately.)

As of Calamity Chorus, they have been with the NSS for 9 years. 6 years as an Agent and 3 as Captain.

Appearance
Three is a shorter inkling with lightly tanned skin and brown eyes. They have two tentacles on either side of their head, the left side reaches their hip and the right is just above their shoulder, they have straight bangs that go into their eyes. When they first started in the NSS they had orange hair, but a bit after and even now as Captain they sport a sage green. They like to wear old, baggy and worn clothing, usually being seen in a gray Skalop hoodie. They only take off their Captain's hat when in public, replacing it with a short beanie, but if they can they like to keep it on. After taking on so many dangerous missions, they have an abundance of scars. Namely on the ends of their tentacles, on their hands.Their most prominent scars are one in and around their left eye and tentacle/bangs, having a strange turquoise colouring and causing their pupil to glow in the dark, and the other is a large one on their upper lip that they had even before the NSS.

Weapon         Formerly an N-Zap '83 main (until Kraken got removed), now just uses any weapon given to them (including improvised weapons)
