Agent 8 doesn’t remember anything before the Deepsea Metro. Not even her own name. Instead of dwelling on the lost memories that sometimes appear to her in confusing flashes, she chooses to focus on the future and all the great experiences that have come with it.

After escaping the Metro and defeating former Agent 3, she lived with Off the Hook for a bit while they tried to find her a more permanent place, developing a familial bond with Pearl and Marina. Agent 4 offered to house her, and the two grew close as friends and roommates. Agent 8 worked part-time at Ammo Knights to earn a living until her knack of writing, specifically poetry, took off and she chose to focus on a career as an Author. She now lives with Captain 3.

Agent 8 constantly has a neutral resting expression, but this is because she is usually lost in thought. When engaged she is very warm, almost always having a smile on her face. She is very positive and curious, always excited to try new experiences. Despite always having a question about something, she can be pretty nervous about asking, so she usually stays quiet until someone calls upon her. Those who are close to her have a habit of doing so because of this.

Agent 8 is very close with Marina and Pearl, and even accepted an invitation to join them on their world tour much to her excitment. She looks up to Marina as someone who has been through similar circumstances, and Pearl as someone super fresh and strong. She was a bridesmaid at their wedding.

As for the NSS, she can’t help but be very excited by Marie and Callie, as a big fan of the Squid Sisters, she gets internally shy when they rely on her. She is also very friendly with Craig, as the one who helped her escape the Deepsea Metro.

She is very close with most of the agents, Agent 4 is her former roommate and she still hangs out with him quite often despite both of their busy schedules, making time to have the occasional Turf War and a bite to eat. At first, after defeating Agent 3, she was a bit nervous about them. She worried that they might hate her, and it wasn’t easy for them to communicate as she didn’t know ISL at the time. But she took the time to learn, and the two mended things and only grew closer, eventually beginning to date. They now live together. She met the new Agent 3 after returning from Off the Hook's World Tour (and the Memverse), and ended up fawning over them, thinking they’re quite cute (much to their embarrassment).

As of Calamity Chorus she has been with the NSS for 7 years. She is less active recently due to her career.

Appearance
Eight is a taller Octoling with tanned skin and gray eyes. She has very short tentacles, the front two being curled at the ends. She likes to keep her hair lavender at all times, so only the ends of it really change colour (unless she's in Turf War), it's yellow or green with the NSS and when experiencing strong emotions it defaults to a bright pink. Her go-to outfit is something tight-fitting underneath very flowy clothing, alongside the same pair of chunky boots all the time. She has a golden toothpick hairpin and matching golden bracelets.

As of Calamity Chorus
Her hair is much longer and is held into a ponytail. She wears pretty much the same kind of outfits, alongside some of Captain’s baggy hoodies, and even the same boots and hairpiece. Though she now has a pair of thin glasses.
