Flutterkit had a good early childhood. Her mother Sweetwhisper treated her great and they spent a lot of time together. She didn't get along great with Shellkit and wasn't really sure why. Whenever her and Shellkit would play and Flutterkit would loose in wrestlingor would trip, anything really, Sweetwhisper would rush over and then yell at Shellkit for being so reckless and getting Flutterkit hurt. This often confused Flutterkit but she chalked it up to Sweetwhisper being overprotective. But the Shellkit started getting scolded more and more for the tiniest things, one time Flutterkit snuck to follow the two as Sweetwhisper whisked Shellkit away to a darker corner of camp to "scold" her. But that was not a scolding, Sweetwhisper said all sorts of awful things to Shellkit seemingly trying to make Shellkit explode, which eventually she did, screaming back at their mother before running off, and then Sweetwhisper cried and cried to other warriors in the camp when she had been fine just a second ago.

The queen was using Cicadasun's spiraling leadership to take advatage of the fact that no one was watching to closesly, letting her make Shellkit out to be some kind of problem child. Flutterkit felt sick and ran after Shellkit apologizing for not realizing what was happening sooner and telling her sister she didn't deserve to be treated like that. The next time something happened Flutterkit tried to stand up for Shellkit but it just ended up making things worse, Sweetwhisper acting like Flutterkit was just extending kindness despite being wronged, and praising her for it, telling Shellkit she should learn to be more like Flutterkit. Flutterkit stopped trying to defend Shellkit at this point, not wanting to continue making things worse.

apprenticeship

Flutterpaw was excited to become an apprentice, with her newly mended relationship with Shellpaw she hoped they could peacefully train together now out from under the paws of their mother in the nursery. Oh how wrong she was. Sweetwhisper often tagged along to their training sessions, whether she had been invited or not. She would often pit the two against each other and had loud arguments with Shellpaw in the middle of camp. Sweetwhisper also started putting sudtle pressure on Flutterpaw, making her feel as though she had to be perfect all the time, suceed in everything she tried.

This continued for quite a while, Flutterpaw trying to convince Shellpaw to come with her to tell someone about what was going on, hating seeing her sister ostrisized from the clan while cats came and talked to her just fine. Recently Flutterpaw was called over by her mother who had already been talking to Shellpaw. Sweetwhisper told them she was going to ask Dragonsun to give them the same suffix, bonding them as sisters for life. Flutterpaw had been horrified, She loved Shellpaw but she knew that her nor Shellpaw wanted to have the same suffix, a warrior name was special, meant to exemplify your talents.

Finally, after Shellpaw had admitted that she also hated the first part of her name Flutterpaw talked to Dragonsun. Dragonsun agreed to the opposition of Sweetwhisper trying to choose her kits names and told her that he would have their back at their warrior ceremony. Her sister picked out a new name, Flickerpaw, although only Flickerpaw's mentor, Dragonsun, and Flutterpaw knew. Flutterpaw felt extreme anxiety about the ceremony going in, and having forgotten to warn her mentor Skywatcher about the impending drama of the ceremony, did so just before she was called up to be named. She was named Fluttercup, and her sister Flickerwings. Sweetwhispers true nature was exposed to the entire clan as she loudly tried to interupt the ceremony, yelling at dragonsun and FLickerwings. Fluttercup letting loose on her mother, teling her that all of the things "being taken from her" were her own fault. Dragonsun exiled her, naming the now rogue Whisper, in hopes that they never hear her voice again.

warriorhood

Fluttercup hopes that now that Whisper is gone she can really live life. Not looking over her shoulder to see if her mother is watching. Waiting for the next instructions. She worries over her friend Butterflypaw in the apprentice den but hopes to make more friends in the other young warriors. Her crush on Buzzardcloak, a Blizzardclan warrior, is noticed by Butterflypaw and they have a fight about it. Fluttercup thinking its not a big deal, its not going anywhere. But Butterflypaw ends up taking it very personal, her sire being a Blizzardclan cat. The arguemnt ends with Butterflypaw sending Fluttercup away.

A party is held in the young warriors and apprentices honor, hoping to raise spirits. Fluttercup decides this is the moment to try and make friends with Iciclepaw. She was about to become a warrior and Fluttercup felt bad that they hadn't hung out before because of all the stuff she had going on. Things quickly go sideays as Butterflypaw steps out of the den with a new look. Fluttercup becomes rather flustered and distracted. She tries to shake it off and go get face paint with Iciclepaw but Butterflypaw ends up over there as well just making the entire situation all to awkward. Iciclepaw's warrior ceremony happens not long after and she is named Razorwave. Days after this announcment Drangonsun tells the clan of a phrophecy from the seelie, and of weird happenings in the caves. This worries Fluttercup but she is sure that it will get taken care of if everyone works together. Fluttercup then invites Razorwave out to apologize to her for what happened at the party, also parcially fumbling the apology, but they end up having a good time swimming.

Until they see the passing of a stampede in a diffrent part of the territory, rushing back to camp to tell everyone of the danger. Butterflypaw's mom is caught in the stampede, Fluttercup rushes to comfort her, having never seen her best friend so upset before. Fireflydance is ok much to everyones relief but things are still a bit awkward with Butterflypaw because of their fight. The gathering comes quickly, she chooses to talk with someone other than Harrierveil. She doesn't want to upset Butterflypaw, and well, her fleeting feelings for Harrierveil have quickly dissapeared as the same, but much stronger feelings, push their way forth about Butterflypaw. During this gathering however Dovemoon attempts to attack Dragonsun over Razorwaves new name. The molly confronts her grandfather infront of both clans. Fluttercup stays nearby in a show of support, some of the things Razorwave said sounded a little too familiar. Razorwave curls into herself, not really leaving the warriors den. Fluttercup plans on trying to talk to her, but before she can Butterflypaw reaches out. Trying to see if Fluttercup talked to Harrierveil at the gathering.

Fluttercup is slightly annoyed by this but is more than happy for things to go back to normal. It is during this conversation that she notices her sister missing from camp for quite a bit longer than normal. Hm. She goes out to search for her that worry overtaking the urge to speak to Razorwave. She ends up going with Charm and Whistlemose to look for Flickerwings. Find her they do, in a fight with Whisper, their mother attacking her and blaming her for everything once again. None of them are fast enough to stop what happens next, Flickerwings is forced to kill Whisper to save their own life. Fluttercup has to watch helpless to help her sister. But she pushes her feelings in this moment away, the hurt, the relief, the sickness, the guilt. Flickerwings needs her, she needs the support more. Fluttercup is fine! She wasn't forced to kill Whisper, she wasn't the one who had gotten the worst of it. Whisper had just tried to tamper with her name thats all.

It stays this way for a while, Fluttercup is fine! Nothing to worry about with her! Until she cannot hold it in anymore, she leaves camp quietly heading in a random direction. almsot by fate she ends up in the very spot her and Butterflypaw argued, a place not many cats come to. The cave whispers to her as she lays just beyond its maw, screaming to no one. At least, she thought she was screaming to no one, until Charm makes himself known, having followed her out of camp. He reassures her that although diffrent, what Whisper did to her was just as bad as what happened to Flickerwings, and she cries into him. She hears his words, but a large part of her still feels that she needs to be the strong one for Flickerwings, she doesn't want her sister to feel as though she ruined anything by defending herself. When she comes back to camp it seems as though Butterflypaw had been waiting and they lay together, although nothing is explained.

She is able to talk to Razorwave soon after this, discovering many things about Blizzardclan in the process that were very horrifying to hear. Things over there seem to be much worse than she had thought. But she is glad to have been able to get Razorwave to talk about it, and to get her out of camp for another swim! Huckleberrypaw and Mulberrytwist are found and welcomed back into the clan, Fluttercup is happy to see Butterflypaw reunited with her lost sibling Huckleberrypaw. Soon Butterflypaw and her sibilings get their names, Huckleberrypaw being renamed Nymphwish to match his siblings. Fluttercup is more than happy to cheer her best friend on. Wearing a blue butterfly wing for the occasion. She is named Butterflyblush, and for a little while things are good. It cannot stay that way forever though. Strawberryshore's crimes are told to the clan, Fluttercup is horrified, thinking about Cicadasun's kits she had looked up to growing up and how two of them had died becuase of luv. She doesn't notice the dangerous look in Butterflyblush's eyes. Nymphwish was Strawberryshore's sibling as well. Butterflyblush goes out in search of Strawberryshore and attacks him, coming out of the fight with a missing ear and a large scar scross her face. Fluttercup is horrified and doesnt know if she wants to scream or cry or, well she doesnt know. She hovers around the medic den as Butterflyblush heals. Seeing her like that, the thought of loosing her without telling her about her feelings... The thought of loosing her at all.

In the midst of her tumbling feelings about her best friend, still trying to not hold onto guuilt about what happened with Flickerwings and their mother and so many other things, The fae have become more prevelant. Cracks in the ground shinging light, a golden tree set apon by a clan mate who then comes out with two tails instead of one. What if Butterflyblush got into one of those, what if she got hurt. What if her sister got hurt. She is wracked with anxiety over these thoughts. It is not long after this that Whistlenose becomes a mediator, hoping to alleviate some of the emotional damage many of the clan seem to have.

When Butterflyblush is released from the medics den she is surprised when she asks her to talk. They dance around each other for a few moments, a strange tension in the air before they both admit they have feelings for each other. FLuttercup tells her that she has had feelings for her for quite a while, since a little before the party. That seeing her come back into camp that day was terrifying, the thought of loosing her was terrifying. Butterflyblush says she feels the same, but that she thinks they should wait to really be in a relationship, they are both young, and she was a lot oof issues. She's going to go start seeing the mediator to sort herself out. To be able to be better for herself and for Fluttercup. They agree to not take things to far for now, but now their feelings are out in the open and things feel, better.

More blizzardclan cats join the clan, found half dead on the borders. She worries about whats happening. Everything seems to be spiraling out of control, the Fae, the clans. Dragonsun looks more stressed then ever. Its all just, so much happening. But she has to keep it together, for Butterflyblush, for FLickerwings. She's the one thats put together, she doesn't have to be perfect anymore no, but if she can't hold everything together then who will? Who;s going to take care of the cats she loves and cares about? Things calm downa bit, in her life anyway. Strawberryshore is killed by Thrushdance, she isn't quite sure how to fell about that, but she's glad luv is gone, that Butterflyblush can't worry about him being out there to possibly hurt Nymphwish again. She feels bad for Thrushdance a bit, but also doesnt understand at all how she could let herself be tricked like that. But then again she would probably do anything for Butterflyblush, so is she really one to judge?

Then Lilacpaw REALLY begins acting out, things hadn't been great before. But when Angelmask comes back to camp with claw marks covering their face she grows very worried about her, younger sibling? She's not really sure how to feel about the younger cats that Charm had helped raise. Now that he was like a father to her and Flickerwings. Poppypaw and Lilacpaw remind her far to much of herself and FLickerwings, except somehow worse because there is no common enemy to unite against like her and her sister had with their mother. Her worries are quickly proven when during a snow storm Flickerwings goes to try and talk to Lilacpaw, she can relate, she wants to help. To give the apprentice someone to talk to that she never got. But Lilacpaw's anger has no real target so she lashes out at Flickerwings, telling her she is the worse sister and all sorts of other nasty things.

Flickerwings ends up running from camp because of this and is fairly quickly noticed to be missing from camp, as everyone should be in camp in this weather. A search is quickly sent out, Fluttercup volenteering right away, grateful to have Butterflyblush volenteer as well. She is placed in a search party with Pumpkinfeather and Snailstep. They are sent to exiles end to search there. Fluttercup hopes Flickerwings isn't here, or if she is that they havent gone to far yet. They do find her, and after a lot of convincing, and much help from Pumpkinfeather who she thinks had more paw in getting Flickerwings to come home than she did they arrive back at camp.

It seems however that Fluttercup is not allowed a moments rest. As she waits up for Butterflyblush to come home from a patrol with her brother and some others as night falls she gets more and more worried, something feels wrong. When they come back to camp Butterflyblush looks exahsted, and why do her paws look bigger? Midgeleaf, after bringing her into the medics den, comes back out and tells her what happened. She feels so many emotions all over again, fear, anger, tired. Why would she do that? Why would she deliberatly put herself in danger she doesn't understand. She still waits up for Butterflyblush and doesn't say a word, but a wound festers.

Dragonsun announces he will be stepping down, and Stormrise, now Stormsun will be taking his place. She is greatful for everything he's done but is glad that he's looking out for himself. However other worries are plauging her mind, mainly those of Butterflyblush. She seeks her out to finally have a conversation.
