Bloomclan's Fireflydance and Blizzardclan's Mudslash had met on the border. Their relationship had been outlawed by Dovemoon's decree, yet love still bloomed. Their had once been the intent for Fireflydance to move to Blizzardclan to be with Mudslash, but upon the announcement of her pregnancy, Mudslash left -- instead, alone, Fireflydance had her children. A litter named of bugs.

KITHOOD

As a child, Butterflykit was not aware of the grief that took place before her birth. She knew Fireflydance's loving embrace, the love of her siblings, and the love of her Godparent, Phantomveil. As well as Huckleberrykit, who Mother had died in childbirth and was tended to by Fireflydance. He had became another sibling to Butterflyblush, and the one she was the closest with. Until Cicadasun's death had Cherryroot, his father, taking all of his children and leaving the clan. Butterflykit didn't understand why her best friend was taken away ... Amongst Mothkit's kindness, Midgekit's shyness, and Darnerkit's ego; Butterflykit was determined to strike it out on her own. Attitude issues reared themselves early in her - scuffles amongst her siblings and other kits more often than not started by her paws. She was going to indepedent, the best warrior Bloomclan had seen, and the best leader! She rarely sat still enough for Fireflydance's affection ... but catching sight of her Mother tenderly grooming Midgeleaf, something teemed in her heart.

APPRENTICESHIP

Her reputation caught up to her. Her mentor was declared Lioneye; a loving molly who would not take any shit from Butterflypaw's attitude. She was able to keep Butterflypaw in check more than a soft-hearted mentor could've. Darnerpaw was given to the deputy, Stormrise, and a bit of jealous brewed in her chest. Midgeleaf had became a Medic's apprentice, and Butterflypaw couldn't quite shake the feeling of being left behind. Well, except for Mothpaw, who had the rather unimpressive Dusthop. But Mothpaw was so kind you could almost forgot that.

Butterflypaw kept herself optimistic. She didn't need a special deputy apprentice or to be a Medic's apprentice to prove herself -- the Gathering will prove that, when Dragonsun announces her to Blizzardclan. She gravitated to Flutterpaw's side, teasing the Blizzardclan apprentice Garlicpaw. This was fun! This was ... Butterflypaw felt her gaze drift to Fireflydance's side. Upset. She rushed to her Mother's defense, barking threats at the Blizzardclan warrior, Mudslash, all the way until ... Fireflydance told her this cat standing before her was her sire.

What? She had thought of her Father before, but ... Butterflypaw didn't expect this. Mudslash had fled upon learning Fireflydance was pregnant. He didn't want her. He didn't ... he didn't .... Butterflypaw isn't sure how the Gathering ended. She does not recall if cats cheered her name when Dragonsun announced her as a new apprentice, as they surely must had. She said something mean to her Mother though. Butterflypaw could tell you that.

Days later, Butterflyblush lied to Lioneye ran and fled camp, running 'til she hit Lover's March. She met Mudslash. Desperate, Butterflyblush tried to get him to come to Bloomclan - to come home, and even looking at her, Mudslash denied her. She came home to a fierce grounding. On a mission unknown to Butterflypaw, she was selected to journey into Whiteout's Cave. Midgeleaf was there alongside her when they were taunted by a Fae unknown, but the patrol discovered the Amber within its depths. Everything felt like so much. Her friendship with Flutterpaw - later Fluttercup - had grown in time. She was distant to her Mother. Distant to her siblings, Mothpaw's and Midgeleaf's distate in what Butterflypaw had said to their Mother was hardly hidden. She went to the gathering again. And --- Fluttercup was flirting with former Garlicpaw, now Harrierveil, and Butterflypaw felt her heart drop. There was her friend, treading down the same path Fireflydance had ... Butterfly had to warn her. Say something. It hadn't ended well, and worse of all, Fluttercup learned about Butterflyblush's Father. She avoided Fluttercup after that.

Almost a Warrior, Butterflypaw decided to do something about this rut she was in. Selecting self-care in the form a new-look, letting the fur ontop her head grow out and experimenting with berries to dye the fur. On the day of the Bloomclan party, Butterflypaw awkwardly shuffled her way to Fireflydance and pleaded with help in putting it up and braiding it. It was the first moment of bonding with her Mother since ... everything. It felt nice. Fireflydance also gifted her a monarch butterfly; her namesake. The party went well! She lost the competition, but she felt nice! It was finally getting better, and just in time! Butterflypaw would be graduating soon. She was ... happy? Maybe? The stampede was put a damper on her, but Fireflydance was recovering.

Dragonsun had an announcement. Former Bloomclan Strawberryshore, Huckleberrypaw's sibling, had killed Dragonsun's siblings. He was a danger. He attempted to kill Raspberrydream, his own brother. A fear is instilled in her -- is Huckleberrypaw safe? Dragonsun said not to attack, but someone had to safe Butterflypaw's brother. She tracked Strawberryshore ... she attacked, carving out luv eye. Mutual blows are thrown onto the other, Butterflypaw's ear being ripped off, before the fight fizzled out with both wounded. She is healed by the care of Bloomclan's medic, forced to attend therapy from Bloomclan's Mediator, Whistlenose ... and begins to cover the scars with her loose hair. Later, with Phantomveil and Lioneye, they get Huckleberrypaw back. <

WARRIORSHIP

Named Butterflyblush, alongside her siblings Darnerwisp, Mothskip, and Huckleberrypaw who was renamed Nymphwish. Midgeleaf graduated later per their Medic position. She was happy.

Butterflyblush confessed the truth of her feelings to Fluttercup - the truth of the jealously over Harrierveil all those moons ago - Butterflyblush had a crush on her. The feeling is mutual, and she is overjoyed, but they both agree to wait until Butterflyblush has had more therapy to make the relationship official.

Moons past. She is doing as well as she can. Her scar is tinged with pain more often than not, but the Medics say that too, will heal.

On a patrol with Midgeleaf, Quickspring, and Hypervoice, Butterflyblush encounters a faerie ring. In a moment of anger, Butterflyblush steps inside. Hypervoice is dragged in alongside her. They are forced to dance with the Faeries. Midgeleaf and Quickrise is able to get them out using thyme, Butterflyblush earning an extra set of toes and Hypervoice dissapearing. Midgelead and Quickspring both scold her. When Hypervoice returns, telling how they were sent to Deer Crossing, Butterflyblush apologies.

The Blizzardclan Rebellion ocurs, and Butterflyblush is dissapointed to had not been informed of such. Dragonsun declares that he is stepping down, and Stormsun will be the new leader alongside Quickrise. She looks towards Bloomclan's future.
